I purchased this for top of the stairs so nobody accidentally falls down. Also the had to invent their own plate cover which I don't even know how to install. Just stupid.

Wish it had 2 brightness settings though. It can be a bit bright in a kids room depending where it’s installed.

Is this bright enough to be used as a night light?

Hi there, Looking to replace a hallway receptacle with one of these to eliminate the need for a night light. Would either of these be sufficient light (equivalent to a night light)? Thanks, Daniel
