We installed this and used it with our ipad, works great. It is nice not have have to walk across the house to turn off all the lights. If you leave the lights on when you leave the house you can easily turn them off with your phone without having to run back in. The quality seems like it will last and looks like a high end lightswitch. Installation is easy but does require a neutral wire (white typically) Setup is a breeze with your phone or tablet (will not work on android) The application is easy to use and easy to navigate. We are very happy with this switch!

It is a large room with a switch at the two entrances, either switch can control the light. The problem is this switch needs to have the power, a neutral and the load wire all in the box it is mounted in. In my case, as many others, I only have the 3 wires from the lights. The Hot & Neutral are inside a terminal box or a light fixture. I have installed many 3 way dimming switches, never has it been so difficult to determine the wiring and disappointing that I could not make it work.

You can add it to a scene like "I'm home" or "Goodnight" to turn it on or turn it off while also operating other home kit devices like thermostats, outlets, garage doors, etc... One note. I bought the 1st one and it had the regular switch in the dimmer box. Took it back and went to another Home Depot and bought the 2nd one there. Same thing happened. Took it back and this time I opened the box and made sure it was the dimmer switch inside. I recommend you do that also and possible save you a return trip to the store. Gave it 4 stars instead of 5 stars because of this quality control issue.

Easy set-up and using it with the optional remote 3-way dimmer as well. NOTE: the installation is a little more advanced than a single on-off-type replacement. Because this switch is a computer, and that it is a digital 3-way switching device, it needs to have an additional common, or it will not function at all. Also, it needs to be placed on the load-side of the circuit and only uses Leviton's dimmable smart remote for dimming at both locations or use a standard 3-way switch on the "dumb side."

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these no-hub required outlets and switches. This is my first switch (I have an outlet plug and am expecting a second one soon). These are great as they connect directly to a home network and can be controlled by an app. I just rehabbed my garage and added a work light over a work area. This switch is now there so I can control my garage light simply. One nice thing about this is the connection to Amazon echo via adding a skill to the echo. Now I have voice commands for the light in my garage! Awesome. I can also can dim the light if I don't need so much light. I am slowly upgrading the outlets and switches to be connected so I will have a connected home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love automation that works. I installed the 1000W model a few weeks ago. It works so flawlessly, I do not have to think about it. Thought I would get another, but went with the 600W model. Since, 600W is already overkill on LED's. Before you buy, make sure you have a good WiFi signal where you want to install it (at the switch, not the fixture), make sure you have a deep switch box, and to control time, use Apple's pre-installed HomeKit app. Home Depot sells these individually, in 3 packs and 5 packs.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easy to install [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Leviton decora smart dimmer switch today, it was very easy to install and get connected to my iPhone, their are L.E.D.s that display the brightness level. I downloaded the decora app and clicked a picture of the setup code sticker and it connected. It works great from the app on my phone but what I really like is that it also works from Siri on my phone.

Can I set this to a dusk to dawn setting? I can do this with Phillips Hue lightbulbs.

Through HomeKit in the home app yes it’s is possible. Not sure about with the Leviton app but I assume you will be using it with iOS and HomeKit and yes it’s very easy too.

Can i turn on and off the lights from anywhere ? When am not home with wifi

The switch works with HomeKit, So if you meet the requirements to access HomeKit across the internet then yes, you can control it away from home. To access HomeKit when you aren't on your wifi network at home you would need to have an AppleTV or iPad setup as a HomeKit hub.

When you reset your wifi router will the switch reconnect? In my experience it does not.

Hi, The switches usually reset within a minute after router connections are restored, If not you can try air gapping the dimmer by pulling the bottom of the dimmer bar out slightly which disconnects power to the switch and load. leave out for about 1 minute. Push the dim bar back to normal position after and within a minute or two connection should be restored. If further assistance is needed please call the tech line at 1-800-824-3005.

<10/30/2017 update> I called Leviton for a compatibility list for this decora smart dimmer DH6HD, and was told to use the list for a dimmer that uses the same internal design, the DDL06-BLZ. When I looked at this list there were NO options for "best", and only 2 BR40 bulbs listed -- Sylvania wasn't one of them. The Ecosmart ECSBR4075WEW27120G1BL and the SATCO S9144.
