Leviton's IPVD6/IPSD6 Universal Vacancy and Occupancy Sensors combine state-of-the-art technology with new aesthetics to provide optimal management of lighting and motor loads and a choice of either Manual-ON (Vacancy Sensor) or Automatic-ON (Occupancy Sensor) switching. All models have screw terminals for easy installation and do not require a neutral wire for connection. The devices feature a time delay setting which allows users the option to delay the lights/motor load from switching off for 30 seconds, 5 minutes, 15 minutes or 30 minutes.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice motion sensing etc Took a bit of getting used to. Discovered that a quick push = off, and then remains off until you push it on again (IOW motion sensing will not work). When unit is not "forced off" it will sense your entry into the room and it does a nice job of ramping up the lights. Of the three adjustable timers, I only dealt with the "brightness level" and the "remain on after no motion". (Initial setting was too short and light would go off when I remained still). Also, holding switch to ramp up or down lights functioned well, but I'd rather have a separate slide switch on the side. (I did not install this as a 3-way switch, so I can't speak to that)

There are some optional adjustments described in the instructions that are a little difficult to understand, but the product is great. It is in a laundry room that has no windows and its so convenient to be able to just walk in with a basket of laundry and have the light turn on and then turn back off when I leave. I like the dimmer functionality because the brightest light isn't always needed. As one reviewer noted, you need at least one incandescent bulb along with any LED bulbs in your fixture for the dimmer to work properly. The switch's motion sensor capability is perfect in this small room.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not work! I spent an a couple hours trying to get this thing to work. Would not turn off after any adjustments. The dimmer is nonsense it is either high or low with no in between. It even ramped up once when I was talking. Spent too much time trying to make this work. Returned it and went with the comparable Lutron, which costs ten $ more but worked as it was supposed. If you are interested in wasting your time please purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Waste of time Does not work with LEDs. Tried two different models from Leviton. Save your time and get a Lutron.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Quirky Design. Not a true 3-way Switch If you are expecting that this product will allow you to turn your lights ON & OFF from 2 different locations, you will be disappointed. The manual "3-way" switch can immediately turn the light ON but not OFF. Using the manual switch, the light will only turn OFF when the set delay has elapsed. So too bad if you have entered your room/space at the occupancy switch and triggered a 5 minute or greater lights ON cycle but you want to turn the lights OFF immediately via the manual switch as you leave the room or hallway.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good detection angles and plenty of features Overall I am very pleased with it and it works well with my led bulbs. Although the wiring for a 3-way is a little strange, it work quite well. The second switch needs to be flipped twice if you wish to close the light.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Don't Recommend I suggest save your money!! I have two of these installed and they work sort of OK, sometimes!! I am an electrician and they are a tricky install, be aware that you have to modify BOTH existing three-way switches! Early this morning, before anyone was up, one of these switches kept me awake as it went into an irregular on/off, on/off mode, as it had done in a location that I had it in previously!!! It DOES work on DIMMABLE RATED led's in my application. I do like the option to open the air gap switch if you don't want this switch to cycle off/on if you are in the vicinty for an extended period and don't want the light coming on. Like someone else said, wasted way too much time on these switches!! I recommend Lutron or Eaton!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Funny occupant sensor dimmer switch! If you plan to use it as a 3-way switch, better go with Lutron. This Decora requires a muscle training to double tap the other regular switch. By now, its engineers still haven't come up with batter way to make its 3 way system work like a charm. Funny! Dimmer? Works with expensive dimmable LED bulbs that offer various outputs. Cheap ones will give you only low and high outputs. Traditional bulb works fine with this dimmer. Don't use it on an exhaust fan. Either this switch or your fan will die shortly.

Will this switch work to replace our current (Lutron) motion 'on' switch in our bathroom?  Current one works fine, but we want an option for the motion light to come on with a 'dimmer' setting instead of blinding us with full brightness (at night)
