Rated 2 out of 5 by from Does not fit a 33” window without using a saw This is a noisy unit that would be so much better if the fan stayed on with the compressor turned off. Unfortunately this is not the case and you have to constantly listen to it shut on and off as well as it not circulating the air in the room nearly as well as it could. The most disappointing feature of this machine is that the manufacturer claims that it will fit in windows from 24 to 55 inches in width. This is not an accurate statement! It cannot fit in a 33 inch wide window without having to cut the window panel with a saw. When I contacted the manufacturer their customer service was awful. I spoke to three different people and their product knowledge was negligible. Each time that I explained the situation to them, they read to me from the owners manual. The reason I was contacting the customer service department was because the owners manual did not cover the issue that I had. Do yourself a favour and buy a different air conditioner

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible turns fully on and off every few minutes Instead of the fan staying on and the condenser turning on and off once it reaches temperature the condenser turns off then the whole fan it wakes you up from the sound of it turning on and off every 5 minutes as it reaches temperature then gets a bit warmer boom right back on worst feature ever

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great cooling, but fan doesn’t continuously blow This unit is great, and has a strong fan that really pumps out the cold air. The only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars, is because it’s a bit louder than my previous AC, and because the fan doesn’t continuously blow air when the compressor turns off. Instead, the whole unit stops blowing altogether until the compressor kicks back in.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Worked for 3 years and now no more cold air We purchased this unit in 2019 and it worked well for the small room we used it in, but this year after the usual set-up process it is not producing cold air. We have cleaned the filters, checked the water tank level, cleaned the inside compartment and all accessible hoses and lines with no success. It's very disappointing that these units are not built to last. I have had many other LG products and only have good things to say about them. Very disappointed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great a/c Reliable brand This is my second portable LG a/c. I bought a second do you have complete coverage in my apartmen and I chose LG A game because the first is so reliable. This one is somewhat quieter as it is a newer model by about 6 years so I have it in my bedroom and I’m able to sleep with it on. Very happy with it.

Is it 12000 BTU or 10000 BTU?

Asked by: CAKA
Dear Customer, There are two type of ways to measure the capacity of the unit. ASHRAE method is 12,000Btu which measures the capacity of the unit itself DOE or SACC method is 10,000Btu which measures the Net capacity of the unit. DOE or SACC subtracts the heat loss through the vent and infiltration loss from ASHRAE capacity. Hence the capacity is lower than AHSRAE Thank you

How long is the exhaust hose?

Asked by: Louise
About 6 ft. The electrical cord is short only 4.25 feet. It should have its own outlet. I live in an older building and I cannot use my hair blower in a different outlet in the same room, when the a/c is on , without blowing breaker and having to reset it.
