Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall I am satisfied This replaced an old 20 cf Kitchen Aid fridge. The freezer is larger but the fridge part appears smaller than the old fridge. The door containers don't secure the bottles as the old one did unless the bottles are jammed in. Inside organizationally could be improved on. But for a second fridge it does the job.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very efficient use of space Bought the 30" version a few years ago for the house we were in then, and liked it so much that we bought this 33" version last year when we moved and had to replace the fridge there. This year, when replacing the fridge at the family cottage, we bought this 33" model again. Had researched many fridges and names of fridges, looking for a quality fridge that would last many years, and that optimized the space inside. Love that the interior light on the ceiling is flat instead of protruding, which allows for full use of the top shelf; also, the water filter in the top corner takes up minimal space. The deli drawer allows for more efficient use of space for all of the meats and cheeses, yet still allows for 3 full shelves of space. The freezer is also well laid out, maximizing space for use.

Microwave, freezer, window AC. I purchased a used and left outside stand up frigidaire freezer built when cooling coils were visible inside the box and it needed to thawed every so often. I just got rid of it due to hurricane damage in 202. I hope this LG fridge doesn't stop working. At least I'll be ready for refund and to submit my experience in a review. if my LG stop working.

Is the compressor in this the same as the one in the 2020 U.S. class action lawsuit? My 2017 LFXS24623S just quit and I don't want another LG compressor problem.

Fortunately, we don't have a lawsuit case about the Compressor for Canadian market. If ever a Compressor is at fault, there's a coverage of 10 years warranty for Compressor part.

Very interested in purchasing this LG model refrigerator but no plans to use ice maker. No access to water/piping in area where fridge will be located. Will the freezer/refrigerator work properly without using ice maker and installing water to the unit ?

If there is no access to water lines, they can still use the fridge but they need to make sure that the ice maker are turned OFF.

I have this refrigerator. Can anyone tell me why the doors dont close smoothly? I need to use extra pressure to close them the last few inches.

Mine works ok most of the time. I was told by the installer that if I had a problem I should adjust the front legs of the unit (up?). This should cure the problem.

Does this ice maker pour ice into the basket? The reason I ask is that I see an ice tray between where the ice should come from and the basket. I didn't pay this much to make 12 cubes at once by hand. Installers were no help answering this.

Where is the water filter mounted on the fridge? My current unit has it mounted on the back and affects the depth of the unit and prohibits it from sliding back against the wall. I'm installing next to a 36" wall and want to be sure the 35/.5" total depth (including handles) won't stick out past the wall.
