Our last stainless french door fridge (rhymes with hamstrung) lasted less than 4 years and was not reparable and the customer service sucked. This beautiful LG stainless french door fridge is the best we've ever owned. The use of interior space is excellent, so much room, the exterior is finger print resistant, the fridge is very quiet. I really, really researched this time for the very best fridge and this was such a good choice - best fridge ever! Highly recommended.

Shelves not adjustable. 2 Veg/fruit bins small & drawer below shallow, & doesn't extend far enough for bulky fruit/veg. Freezer door could open more to access lower section or sliding top drawer. Can turn off internal ice maker. Beeps if door left even slightly open. Doors easy to clean & are not magnetic.

The freezer stopped working about a month ago and the fridge is making so much noise I don't think it will last much longer. Thank goodness we had the warranty. This is obviously a terrible fridge because the first call for warranty service resulted in them refunding our purchase price (they seem to know that it isn't worth fixing). Never buying LG fridge again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beware of the “No fingerprint” feature This is a great fridge for the space I have. It’s sleek, stylish and easy to use. The only issue I have, and it’s minor, is the “no finger print” feature is a sticker put on the doors. This sticker does it’s job for sure but dust sticks to it like crazy and when removing the packaging, a corner of it next to the LG label got lifted and wrinkled. It can’t be taken up and smoothed out. Other than that, it’s so far a great unit. Quiet too!

Only one service company would come and they said they likely couldn’t repair it. LG does not provide any technical support to repair technicians and they can’t get parts. Buying a new one. Writing off the LG. Do not buy this fridge.

The handles of the doors had screw holes in them that were visible, it should have something to cover up the screw holes. The door on the right was slightly off alignment. The fit and finish is not perfect but everything else is great.

for people who have purchased, how is the quality of the door shelves? I find some brands to be very cheap looking and feeling like they would break or crack easily.

Very quiet, honestly the only noise it makes is when the new ice cubes drop. You can turn that off. No WIFI.

I believe the "Assembled Depth (in inches) = 31.25" is INCORRECT. It should be 28.75 in. , correct?

I measured mine and it is 2 ft and 3 inches from the wall out … with the the handles that would be an additional 3 inches … but to the counter edge it fits quite nice

How long is the back end of the door hinge to the surface of the door? I'm limited by the height, so if the hinge is not very long from the surface of the door (or, from the case front to the end of hinge), I may figure out if it will fit into my cabinet.
