Find out from reviews on-line that this is a normal problem with this pile of junk. Wow! Poof $800 plus tax and headache to install etc. gone. I believe LG is selling product that is designed to fail just after warranty period, a sort of industrial sabotage of the USA manufactures of appliances. How long ago was it when a Range, refrigerator, washer-dryer, when out of style and was given to a relative or sold at a yard sale? Those days are GONE. These are designed to fail just past warranty, and I was a sucker for thinking else wise. Yes, contacted LG and their obscure service network. For a few hundred bucks, I can get it fixed so it will last another 18 months. How do you say sucker in Korean? LG? funny stuff... once time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my LG RANGE. We converted from gas to electric. The LG Range was our choice based on the features offered for the price. I’m a bread baker so I love having the bread proofing feature. The blue interior is gorgeous and so easy to keep clean. The 5 burner feature is excellent and so easy to keep from over heating by simply adjusting the temperature control. The stove top is also easy to clean, of course I clean the stove top after each use because I love to see it sparkle. The melody the timer and preheat plays can be silenced but it’s a pleasant tone and enjoyable to hear. You can’t go wrong with an LG.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not so easy clean cooktop is very difficult to keep clean, oven is even worse. did 2 easy clean cycles and didnt do a thing, ended up scrubbing it, took 2 hours and finally used easy off. The Easy off took care of the grease but left a white film on everything that wont come off. DO NOT PURCHASE.

What is the best product to clean the stove top

    Asked by: Lesley 52224
Use ceramic cooktop cleaner on the glass cooktop. Other creams may not be as effective or may scratch, damage or stain the cooktop surface. To maintain and protect the surface of the glass cooktop, follow these steps: 1) Before using the cooktop for the first time, clean it with a ceramic cooktop cleaner. This helps protect the top and makes cleanup easier. 2) Use ceramic cooktop cleaner daily to help keep the cooktop looking new. 3) Shake the cleaning cream well. Apply a few drops of cleaner directly to the cooktop. 4) Use a paper towel to clean the entire cooktop surface. 5) Rinse with clear water and use a dry cloth or paper towel to remove all cleaning residue.

How many amps is this stove? We’re running new electric lines and need to know

    Asked by: Nikki1996
All wiring for the LG 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Single Oven Range with EasyClean®, Model # LRE3061BD should conform to your local and NEC codes. The range requires a single-phase 3 wire, A.C 120/208 V or 120/240 V 60 Hz electrical system and you should only use a 3-conductor or a 4-conductor UL - listed range cord with closed-loop terminals, open-end spade lugs with upturned ends or similar termination with a strain relief. A range cord rated at 40 amps with 120/240 minimum volt range is required. If a 50 amp range cord is used, it should be marked for use with 1 3/8" diameter connection openings. This appliance may be connected by means of a conduit or power cord. If a conduit is used, if the wire in the conduit is copper, it must be 8 or 10 AWG wiring and if the wire in the conduit is aluminum, it must be 6 or 8 AWG wiring. Range electrical outlets generally utilize 8-gauge wire if wired to a 40-amp breaker or fuse and 6-gauge wire for circuits with 50-amp breakers or fuses. Check your local building codes or contact your local building inspector for specific requirements. The circuit for the electric range should not serve any other appliances...^IFV
