Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great stove but shouldn't be placed near a corner It's a sexy stove but we keep inadvertently turning on the leftmost knob when we reach into the cuppboard, located above and to the left of the stove. At first I thought it was because my wife is a bit clumsy but soon noticed I was doing it too. Perhaps it's because of our U shaped kitchen configuration. It's too close to the corner cabinets. At least it makes a sound to warn us it has been enabled. Speaking of sound, I like the little tunes it plays to alert you to certain conditions like the oven is up to heat. Much better than a beep!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Terrible product Although this stove is very beautiful it has no reliability. After a mere 16 months the motherboard went on the oven. LG will not stand behind their product so only purchase this product if you are willing to pay a large price for a useless product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Self-Clean; Known Issues The previous Reviewer is right; Touchpad & interface is terrible. Try setting the timer for 20 mins. Either hit 1 minute 20 times or try to stop on 20... it's frustrating because it will whiz on by! The real problem is the SELF-CLEAN makes your range UNUSEABLE. The first time I tried SELF-CLEAN, the THERMOSTAT (Thermal fuse) BLEW! Couldn't use my range for two weeks, the time to get the repair done. Repair company said, DO NOT USE THIS FEATURE. Used it three other times, each time it required someone to replace the thermostat. Parts not eaily available. LG only sells to LG repair companies. After 5 service class, last technician rendered it defective.

There is no bottom element in this oven, so if you bake not using the convection feature, then everything burns on the top as that is the only originator of heat. Alternatively, if you bake using the convection feature, the oven takes FOREVER to heat up - and if you are baking something that needs frequent attention, then the oven just keeps turning off each time you open the door, and the temperature never really gets to where you need it to be. I make a batch of 36 muffins each morning, and they take 1 hour and 15 minutes to bake (normally takes 26 minutes). Brutal. The worst part? I can't get LG to help me out. I have called them repeatedly - they sent out a repair person to check the oven (who said he has never seen an oven with no bottom element before) and agreed that the way this oven was built will never let me accomplish what I need to. LG keeps telling me they will call back within two weeks - and that is what I've been hearing for over one full month now. I have put this oven aside and brought back my old one - it's better than this one even though it has a hot spot. The service (lack of) that I am getting from LG is HORRIBLE and Home Depot tells me that because it's an LG product they have no authority to do anything either. Really disappointed - an expensive, massive paperweight. I will never buy an LG product again, just because of their customer service. I have had great service from Home Depot in the past and so I am very surprised that they can't help me out with this issue.

Is there an easy way to pull out the stove to clean behind it? It outweighs me and is next to impossible for me to me.

Hi there, thanks for your interest in our product. As this unit does not have wheels underneath, pulling it out to clean behind regularly may prove to be a challenge. Some customers like to purchase a rail kit to make pulling the range out easier so this may be something you'd like to look into. Regrettably, we don't manufacture any such rail kits though.
