Rated 1 out of 5 by from This electric range was delivered August 4, 2019 - and soon after the glasstop showed spots that look like white dots; it is slower to heat than any glasstop I've had before (2), and the convection oven is not working according to instructions - I could say more, suffice it to say I regret having made this purchase as it's the worse appliance I've ever had

Rated 1 out of 5 by from If I could give 0 stars I would. We bought this oven less then a year and half ago. We have already had to schedule two different repairs on it. First one was less then a year after we bought it. Second one was less then 4 months after that. If you for some reason buy this oven get the protection plan because you are going to need it. Worst investment we have ever made.

For now, the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star rating is because it doesn't fit flush against the wall. It sticks out more in front than our prior range did. Where we live, there were not any electric versions of this LG range on display. so we couldn't see that this would have happened. it's ok, but I am pretty disappointed that it isn't flush and sticks out 3-4" which is significant in our galley style kitchen.

can the legs be adjusted to change the height if needed? Is the depth the same as a standard free standing stove? I.e. Does it go all the way back to the wall.

Asked by: Fire guy
Hi Fire Guy. The LG 6.3 cu. ft. Electric Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSE4611ST has an overall depth of 28 15/16" (including handles). Its cabinet has a depth of 24" which is the same depth for standard kitchen cabinets. The range can be pushed back to the wall. This range has a height of 36" to the top of the cooktop surface so that it is flush with standard kitchen Countertops that also have a height of 36". The leveling legs are for leveling the range oven and they will not give you any appreciable height. If the range is too short when installed, you will need to have a platform installed or shims under the feet. Keep in mind that ranges have to be installed with an Anti-tip device...^IFV

How do you turn on and off the vent fan in the back? If it is automatic, when does it turn on and is there a way to change that in settings.

Asked by: Victoria27
We appreciate your interest in this Range. The range itself would not have a vent fan that can be activated manually or automatically.

What is the function of the backguard? Is it an option to remove that piece? Love everything else about this but putting it in an island and concerned it will look funny having that extra 1-3/4" sitting above the counters. Thank you!

Asked by: Jaime0204
We appreciate your interest in this range. The raised portion, along the back of the range, is actually the Oven Vent Trim, which is mentioned on page 28 of the owner’s manual. This portion cannot be removed from the range.

Does LG have any accessories that would fill the gap between the stove and counter? Other slide in ranges extend the cook top over the counter but the LG slide in is much like a conventional stove where it still has a gap.

Asked by: CraigM
Lg did that So the people who have freestanding range would now be able to get this faux slide range, some harware stores have a T strip that ca. Be put in between countertop and range but LG does not sell anything like that
