Best range I have hadI have had many ranges in my lifetime, electric, smooth top electric, gas, dual fuel etc. I have also had many brands from GE to Jenn Aire. So far, in the 2 weeks I have had this range, it is by far my favorite. The induction top boils water as fast as the microwave and when you set it to simmer it does just that. It is very easy to clean the cooktop too. The oven has been very good also. I tried the convection feature on my Jenn Aire and did not like it. So far I have used the convection bake twice and my cakes came out perfectly. I used the convection roast and probe yesterday and was amazed at how quickly my roast was done. This range is an A+ for me.

Would give 0 stars if was an option! We bought this stove in may of 2018 since then it has been nothing short of a nightmare. We have had to schedule two different repairs as the oven itself will not work. First repair was in April 2019 and still under manufacturers warranty, what a nightmare that was. We were without our oven for a full month. Second repair is scheduled for less then 5 months since that repair. If had the option of returning we would in a heartbeat.

UgggggAll was well .....until the range was just over a year old and of course out of warranty.i used the self clean option and now the oven door won’t open. It’s been 20 hours so it’s not too hot to open. Now the oven controls won’t work and the oven appears dead. I called for some technical support and the person who answered is apparently in India and was unable to understand English (no offense to India) I just in the last year I purchased two whole kitchens and two sets of washers and dryers All LG. I never dreamed that they would offer no support except to say speak 1 word at a time-Ummm I am speaking 1 word at a time. All they would say is unplug it! Really disappointed in there lack of concern. You lost a loyal customer!!!!

Love it. Comment on grill feature. We have had this 3 months. Top is great. Use paper towels on the top when heating with oil. Catches any splatter.
Don’t need a toaster oven or air fryer. Convection oven is multi purpose.
Used the speed broil function for a steak. Came out perfectly, with a nice sear. I thought I read somewhere the steak would have grill marks. There were no grill marks. Wished they provided a a third removeable rack. Would eliminate need to use the single rack to the top for grilling. We never move the sliding rack.

I received the oven and it looks great but I am wandering about the racks. I got 3 racks and then I got a smaller one. Where does the small rack goes and what is the purpose of that rack?
Asked by: charettepe
Hi there, your unit should have included 2 heavy racks, 1 gliding rack and 1 bottom rack. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to give us a call at 1-888-542-2623. Kind regards.

The Model LSE4617ST is described as a SLIDE-IN range. I want to install this in an island with a granite countertop. I need to know if it will conceal the edges of my granite countertops at the sides and is the backside of the rear vent look finished?
Asked by: kippie07
Hello Kippie07. The LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Induction Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSE4617ST is described as a slide-in range because it is designed to slide in or be built-in between two cabinets that have a minimum opening width of 30" between them. The range oven has an overall width of 29 7/8" which means it will not overlap your granite top counter. Its depth lines up with standard kitchen countertops with a zero clearance in the back so you have a streamlined custom appearance when you slide the range in between the cabinets...^IFV

Is there any way to remove the promotional decals on the front of the control panel, under the range knobs on the right? They are cheesy and totally ruin the design of the unit.
Asked by: TxNyCa
Hi and thank you for reaching out. The 10 Year Warranty decal is not intended to be removed and can cause damage if done. If you choose to remove it, the damage to the unit will not be covered by the manufacture. ^AC

Asked by: Pandaisuki
The oven in the LG 6.3 cu. ft. It has a default temperature of 350 °F for the Bake mode and can be set from 170 °F / 80 °C to 550 °F / 285 °C for that mode. The convection modes use Auto Conversion which automatically converts a standard recipe temperature entered into the convection temperature by subtracting 25 °F / 14 °C. This auto-converted temperature shows on the display. For example, if you select Conv. Bake and enter 350 °F, 325 °F shows on the display after preheating...^IFV

The LG 6.3 cu. ft. Smart wi-fi Enabled Induction Slide-in Range with ProBake Convection® and EasyClean®, Model # LSE4617ST does not have an artificial flame that allows you to visualize how high the elements are turned. The elements have settings on them, BOOST (Used to heat a large amount of food or to bring large pans of water to a boil), 8-Hi (Bring liquid to a boil/Start most cooking), MED-* )Holed a rapid boil, fry, deep fat fry/Quickly brown or sear food/Steaks, cutlets, grilled meat), 3-MED (Maintain a slow boil/Fry or sauté foods/Cook soups, sauces and gravies/Eggs, pancakes), SIMMER-3 (Stew or steam foods/Simmer), and Lo-SIMMER (Keep food warm/Melt chocolate or butter/Simmer). The cooking zones, which consist of paired cooking elements are restricted to drawing a certain maximum amount of power. If you cause a cooking zone to exceed its maximum allowed power by switching on the Boost function, the Power Management function automatically reduces the power setting of the two elements in the cooking zone to reduce the power draw...^IFV
