Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best dryer i've ever had! This dryer is a must, especially if being paired with either of the two matching LG washing machines. This one has a light whereas the other one does not, and this one has a steam feature which is well worth the extra money. Especially if you're like me and tend to forget about the laundry until it's sat there for some time. No more having to re dry everything all over, just hit the refresh button and all is wrinkle free in minutes. What i don't like about this dryer is the drying sensors... clothes were left dry in spots on various cycles. Waists and any embroidered areas on clothing or towels stayed damp, even if i put them 2 or 3 times in a row. Then i found the "timed" section on the machine and that has simplified and solved everything for me. Sometimes the old way just works better!

New home appliance shopping: We did a lot of research into washers and dryers in advance and this LG model kept coming up as very reliable (and good looking). I ordered it online without examining it up close as part of a pair which normally I wouldn’t do because I like to look at big purchases like this in person first. Given the situation with the pandemic, this wasn’t an option. In the end, it all worked out and the whole process was very positive. Home Depot delivered on time. The delivery guys were amazing! The machines were in perfect condition(I know from past experience with other retailers that sometimes these things can be touch and go). All in all, a very satisfying transaction. And I never thought I’d say this but we do love our dryer. Thanks Home Depot.

Je cherchais une sécheuse efficace et le plus silencieux possible. Cette sécheuse fonctionne très bien et elle est tellement moins bruyante que l'antérieure ! On l'entend un peu, mais c'est subtil. Très satisfaite de mon achat jusqu'à maintenant.

How does the steam function get its water? I understand there is a 'connection' but can someone tell me what that is? I assume it's some sort of 'Y' connection with the cold water tap from the clothes washer. Any help - or photos - would be appreciated.

The measurements seem to indicate this dryer is 29.5" deep. Is that correct? Is that just the frame or is it including some portion of the vent? Because with only 27" in width, that's an odd depth. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks in advance.

27 inches in width is correct. Depth measures at 28 inches (not including power cord and vent).
