Rated 1 out of 5 by from DOES NOT FIT CERTAIN MODELS They redesigned this filter for some reason to look exactly like a version they used to make. If you are looking for 5231JA2006F or 5231JA2006B - THIS IS NOT IT. This will not fit your fridge. Unbelievable LG did this. I will never buy an LG product again. They discontinue parts way too fast.

The new filter does not have a B at the end of the part number. The B was always better than the A for filtering purposes. Is this compatible to the A or B?

Regardless of the letters that you see on the LG 6 Month / 300 Gallon Capacity Replacement Refrigerator Water Filter (Part # 5231JA2006), Model # LT600P, they are all equivalents of the same filter (i.e 5231JA2006F = 5231JA2006A or 5231JA2006B). They are all tested to meet the same NSF/ANSI Standard 42 & 53...^IFV
