On that note I am not very impressed with it. It was easy to hook up to the Wi-Fi and control it, but was not what I was hoping. First I put a blanket in there and it came out smelling like a wet dog and I have no pets, it was also more damp than I would,think it should,be. Next I put in a pair of dress pants, it did ok steaming them but again was more,damp than I thought it ahould be. It also uses a lot if electricity. Over all not very impressed with this.

The touch buttons on the front of the door are easy to use for sure and take very little training. Loading clothes or blankets in the Styler is also super easy. It not only adds an element of sophistication in terms of pure appearance, but it adds a massive level of convenience. We have greatly enjoyed the ability to quickly refresh items like wool suits (including the pants crease feature), blankets and even my kids stuffed animals. They come out smelling fresh and clean, and my sport coats / suit pants feel like they've just been dry cleaned. I get much more wear out of them in between full on cleaning now, which will help cost justify the unit in time, too. We really enjoy having this and recommend it for anyone looking for that added layer of convenience and sophistication to their laundry capabilities at home.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this LG Styler Steam Clothing Care System. I love the idea of having an appliance that can steam, sanitize, and dry my clothing and other things. I love the gentle dry feature for our delicates and I love using it to sanitize our teddy bears which would normally never get cleaned. It is big enough to hold about 5 shirts and pair of pants, but only comes with 2 hangers for shirts. I will have to use regular hangers or buy extra, The shelf is great for putting stuffed animals or towels. The pants crease is really cool too. The styler also has wifi so it alerts you when the cycle is complete. There are also downloadable cleaning modes you can use. Overall it is a great piece of machinery. I know it is not exactly supposed to be a substitution for ironing, but I feel it could be a lot better. Perhaps if they had something that attached to the bottom of the shirts that would pull it down as it steams so it take even more wrinkles out. This fits nicely in our laundry room and makes life a lot easier. I look forward to doing the laundry and having less ironing to do!

The Styler, has instantly added a touch of elegance to the decor of my heretofore ordinary looking laundry room. It is a quiet machine when turned on, that is well made, solid, sturdy, and of high quality. The tall, but not wide appliance, is easy to install and use, because it is a stand-alone unit that doesn’t require attachment to any plumbing. The machine, just needs to be plugged into an electrical outlet and leveled off, if necessary. The control panel is very responsive and simple to navigate. The beautiful mirror finish of the Styler’s door, conceals the touchscreen pad buttons, which are only detectable when the unit is powered on. A helpful fabric care reference guide is included as well as a detailed owner’s manual. Although, the Styler doesn’t wash or clean soiled/stained items, it is certified by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America for reducing bacteria and fungi by at least 99%. I am hopeful that my family’s home environment will benefit by our being able to sanitize the household’s numerous stuffed animals, toys and other plush items, that have been collecting dust and who knows what, for years. My family has found the Styler to be a great way to reduce odors and allergens while refreshing and prolonging the use of our clothing, bedding and sportswear in between laundering and dry-cleaning. Yes, life is good with this marvelous Styler Steam Clothing Care System with Wi-Fi connectivity, by LG.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, the product design is sleek and stylish and can fit most anywhere in your home, I happen to put mine in the laundry room. There is a touch screen that is not visible when the power is off and it can also be used with your smart phone via an app! It was super easy to set up and very user friendly. I placed some delicate blouses and a dress in that were dry clean only. They came out beautifully wrinkle-free and had a fresh, clean scent. Will definitely freshen up clothes between dry cleaners visits if you don't have any stains. Also perfect for pillows and stuffed animals. I love it!

The kids always make their stuffed animals dirty, so having the styler sanitize their toys helps with keeping our hygiene up. With clothes, I tested the styler out after barbecuing. There was a big smoky smell on my clothes, so I placed the clothes in the Styler and put the status on Refresh > Light. The Styler took 20 minutes and got the smell out of the clothes. The Styler does it's job, I guess it's more getting used to which settings for which fabrics. In addition, the mirror finish doubled as a stand up mirror which we have been in the market for.

When completed the shirt was significantly better. I also put a suit in worn the night before at a wedding and the suit was free of smoke odor. Does this product work on a gfci outlet? I have a brand new house and I am on my second machine and it keeps tripping when it is on the dry cycle. Does the machine need to be replaced? I know there is nothing wrong with the outlet, I even tested it.

Support just told me the answer is no. Its absolutely ridiculous that LG markets this laundry machine and it can't be put in a modern US laundry room. US code requires GFCI in all laundry rooms now.

If the gfic circuit is wired inline with other gfci circuits other outlets and or gfci circuit breakers sometimes they get wired backwards. Have an electrician look at it and even run it on a dedicated circuit like a dishwasher
