The Hydro Pro Series 4,500-PSI 4.0-GPM Recoil Start Gas Pressure Washer comes with a 50 State Compliant 420 cc 15HP Engine with a 1.75 Gal. fuel capacity and low oil shutdown for protection. This pressure washer produces 4,500-PSI and 4 Gal. per Minute of water with the Premium Anno Reverberi RRV Tri-Plex pump. A 5,000-PSI rated two piece wand and a 50 ft. 5,000-PSI rated rubber hose are included. The engine switch, push/pull coke lever, all 5 wand tips, and both inlet and outlet water connections are all on the panel for easy access. You never have to get on your knees again to connect the pressure washer. The handle locks in the upright position while in use and can fold down for easy storage. This presurwasher made easy work (4) hours out of something that would take me 4 days with my husky 3200PSI GC190 pressure washer. I called the company after two days as there was a hole in the hose and they shipped me a new one without question

The pressure washer came without a manual and when I found one online, it had not been updated to reflect changes in the product. Once I finally printed all 50 pages it became clear that not only had they not updated the manual when they changed the pressure washer, they had left out critical information, like which of the five crankcase oils they sell does this unit use. Once I finally had it running, it quit after the first 30 minutes and none of the troubleshooting suggestions where of any help. Finally after fiddeling for 15 minutes it started again, but has become hard to start and still quits running every 10 to 20 minutes.

I recommend this only for its power and some other features, such as it has an AR pump which is recognized by many as the most reliable for this type of pressure washer. I also recommend that upon delivery you throw the assembly instructions in the trash or use them to line a litter box because that's all they're good for. The instruction for use aren't much better. Finally, I recommend that you plan time to go to Home Depot for replacement nuts, bolts and washers because chances are that several will be missing. They are packed together in one flimsy plastic bag and thrown in the bottom of the thin cardboard shipping box, with predictably poor results. Also pick up a quart of 30w or 10/30 oil before delivery. Despite the above average selling price, the manufacturer is too cheap to include a quart for you to add, or maybe they did at one time and their poor packaging resulted in oil-soaked cardboard and what remained of the small parts. Oh, and you will probably need some AR crankcase fluid for the pump because that is pre-filled but only to the minimum fill line and you will probably lose some during assembly. I would rate the engine as below average for this price range. It can be difficult to start, cold or hot, and frequently spits, sputters and backfires upon shutdown like one of those $149 lawnmowers. The cheap choke is all but useless. The water connection at the wand is also cheap and leaks heavily despite the included plumbers tape. For another buck the manufacturer could switch to a leak-free connection and avoid the time to (poorly) wrap the tape. So you might need to add plumbers tape to your Home Depot shopping list. Last but not least, and this now seems purposely unclear in the sales specs, there is not a chemical tank but, rather, a syphon connection that requires you to pre-mix your soap, acid, etc. 7:1. Lots of fun dragging a bucket along with the washer as you go when doing large jobs like your house. Bottom line, after using this a few times, it seems like it will hold up to my residential use. There are clearly issues you wouldn't expect to have to deal with for such an expensive purchase, shortcuts taken by the manufacturer and virtually no attention to customer convenience. I recommend it only because similar products in this price range seem to come with even more and bigger problems. In other words, this unit seems to be the best of the worst.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Pressureman from Great Pressure Washer and a Great Value I just received this pressure washer today. I put it together in a couple of hours and immediately cleaned my driveway. Started up right away (as soon as I flipped the switch on.) I suggest they update the instruction manual. Some of the instructions were either for a different model or a previous model. I would also like them to identify the bolts specifically as to which one goes where. I am impressed to the quality of the frame and wheels. There are actually threaded nuts to retain the wheels enabling them to be tightened so as not to wobble. This is the 3rd pressure washer I have purchased in 6 years and by far the best one for the money.
