Rated 2 out of 5 by from Scratches easily I bought this instead of using tile or wood for my kitchen thinking it would be durable. Just moving the fridge which is on wheels and never scratched the former "sticky tile" floor left scratches as did the stove. I am trying to protect it by putting felt on everything but was not expecting to have to do this on a "lifeproof" floor because I am now afraid to move a chair. It looks fine and installs easily but it wasn't particularly cheap and didn't make it 24 hours without getting damaged. I don't recommend for this reason.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product We bought this to install over existing ceramic tile. The whole thing has us a bit worried but seemed much quicker and easier than having the tile removed. We did have it installed by a flooring installer (took him a day for 360 sq ft, would’ve taken us a week) so I can’t speak to the DIY of it but man does it look amazing and seem like great quality. Obviously I can’t speak to the longevity but I will update this if anything flaws over time.

The only issue is the tiles have a light gray background and some of the tiles in each box have a distinctly lighter background almost a white. The white ones were definitely a stand out and most of them were waste. We tried to use them up under the appliances but still had to throw away a lot of them. We liked them so much that we ordered another 6 boxes to do the bathroom and we are hoping that there will be no coloir variations in this batch.

My two concerns: (a) price too high, almost double of what it should be. After installation, all LVTs looks more like the same (since no grout lines), (b) I am not sure if they can hold the color and look for long term (plastic look). Overall good product if the price is right.

It is very good quality, looks very durable and even has a base underpad as last layer of this floating floor. It is about 1/4 inch thick and the locking mechanism is excellent. We love the colour and it really finished off our front hall reno.

No. Sadly, it snaps together like laminate flooring. I ordered online and expected groutable tiles. It is also very slippery.  It looks nice, but that’s about where the positives end.

Does the Arctic Valley Stone Flooring have a pinky tone to it or is that just how the photo of the bathroom in the description appears? Thanks

Yes some of them have a slight pinky tone but the color variations between the planks make it important to mix the planks with consideration. Some of the planks have a lot of white.

Can this product be installed over existing (very thin) carpet? We are hoping to use it in our new storefront that we are currently renovating. We want the look of marble or stone, but do not want to use regular tiles.

I would install as recommended by manufacturer. Having said that, personally I would not install over carpet as this flooring is fairly thin and likely would move and seams likely would open over time.

I love the look of this tile! Is it truly waterproof? I'd like to use my steam mop to clean the floors, especially since my puppy is still in the "accident" stage.

DO NOT BUY THIS FLOORING! Within a year we were experiencing major problems, separations at seams etc (my husband is a very handy man and we have laid many various floors over the years) never with the issues we’ve had with this flooring. Separates at seems, buckling at other seems, scratches you name it. If you contact warranty, they will tell you even though it does not say anywhere that is has to be installed by a licensed contractor, that warranty is void because it was not. They will also tell you that it is not made for any climate with humidity, areas with natural sunlight, or climates below zero. Therefore it is jot actually made for any Canadian climate.  Save yourself the headache and buy something better or you will be replacing it within a year
