Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not recommend Paid $6,000 for this flooring to do the main level and upstairs of our house and we are really disappointed. It does not hold up to anything and dents SUPER easily! We have big chunks missing from the floor already and we don’t have pets or children. We would have returned the flooring but it’s already installed. I gave it a 2 because I love the thick planks and colour. Home Depot is there anything you could do? We just spent $35,000 doing home renovations at your store because Home Depot is the best!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good and easy to install These boxes are quite dense (heavy) and seem to have a good mixture of full length and partial length pieces. I like the look and character of the Meridian Maple. The click together fairly easily and it is possible to backfill with them. The construction appears to have 1.2 mm of wood attached to a stone poly composite, and a foam underlay for a total thickness of 7mm. The box arrived in rough looking shape, and a few of the boards had already been damaged. This leads me to question the long term durability of the product. The finish held up well to 220 grit sandpaper though

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Installers read this As an installer this is the worst flooring I have ever seen It won’t click in and leave gaps, the large pieces are a little larger than smalls. If you are pricing a job this flooring will take you twice as much. Make sure you charge your customer accordingly. I would never install this product or give suggestions to customers to buy this crap

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This hybrid is a dud! I was quite excited about this new type of floor. With luxury vinyl in the past I always thought after an install that if I drop any of my tools on this its going to leave a dent and it won't be easily repairable. I received this floor and thought great finally someone thought of a solution to waterproofing (good for basement floors) and for durability and looks. Well I was wrong, this flooring will not stand the tests of time, the top layer of hardwood is just too thin, you have a brittle top layer and a soft vinyl layer below and hard force is going to crack through and it you start to see the black under layer then you can't leave the dent you would have to fill it or wax touchup pen over it. Also the vinyl interlock is too brittle, chunks of the lips and grooves were breaking off just as I was taking it out of the packaging, There goes the strength of that joint. I recommend vinyl plank all the time but will not be recommending this hybrid.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Only 1.2mm of actual wood I bought this thinking I was getting a full wood flooring, but please understand that this is NOT standard engineered hardwood, it only has 1.2mm of ACTUAL wood. It has a Stone Plastic Compost backing and a layer of plastic or whatever on the wood, which makes it waterproof.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use not much variation I used this flooring in my grandkids playhouse so it's going to have a hard life. It went together easily and its nice and thick. Has the backing built in so thats a nice bonus. For me personally it's a little boring not much change board to board but if you like continuity then you will like this. We will see how it stands up to tge rough housing grandkids in time but gor now it's attractive down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid vinyl Floor with sound cancellation We have a very good experience with lifeproof vinyl flooring. This is very good for high traffic area. And compared to hardwood liffeproof vinyl flooring care and maintenance requirements are very less. It's great for mudroom flooring and anywhere that might get wet or dirty. And lifeproof vinyl flooring doesn't need any underlayment. It's very easy to install. Highly Recommended

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality floor Very good quality so far. I laid this in our gym as I wanted a waterproof floor instead of what was there. Click together easily compared to other brands. Looks very good once all done. Some other brands don’t stay together after some use but this one does not come apart.

What is the the IIC (Impact Insulation Class) and STC (Sound Transmission Class) of this product? What type of underlay should be used to meet and rating of 73**

Asked by: Buckwheat
Dear Buckwheat, IIC and STC ratings are comprised of the entire floor/subfloor assembly, structure and ceiling assembly immediately below the flooring. No single component is used to determine the sound class ratings. On a 6" suspended slab with no additional insulation in an acoustic lab setting attains 52 STC and 57 IIC. Adding a suspended ceiling with acoustical wool and 5/8" drywall ceiling below the subfloor system, the numbers are in the mid-70's range. We do not recommend using additional underlayment, as it can lead to deflection and potentially damage the profiles. If you do decide to add an additional underlayment, it would have to be a non-compressible material. PDNA Customer Service Team

Is this product really, WATERPROOF?? I mean, you can understand my skepticism... it's wood afterall. I'm sure we can't be soaking it in a bathtub right? Won't it delaminate withe xcessive exposure? Some products guarantee 72hr resistance to water...

Asked by: Ace V
Hi Ace, The flooring is considered a waterproof product for topical spills when properly installed as a hardwood floor system in a home. The finishing system, locking profiles and SPC core assure that surface water (spills) will not penetrate through a properly installed floor. This flooring would be suitable for kitchens, laundry rooms, etc., as topical water spills will not affect it. It is not designed to be used in areas subjected to leaks, flooding/standing water or exposed to outdoor elements. Under normal use (as mentioned in the instruction manual), this flooring is considered waterproof (we have done extensive testing on the water-resistant and waterproof properties of the flooring to qualify this). Do we need to be worried about the environment getting too dry? Will the product crack or delaminate due to excessive dryness?

Asked by: Ace V
Hi Ace, we recommend keeping the internal environment between 30% and 60% relative humidity throughout the year, this coincides with normal living conditions for most people. If the home will be regularly subjected to environmental conditions outside these parameters for an extended period of time, there is a possibility of the wood reacting to extreme conditions. Can this be installed with an additional, supplemental layer of underlayment underneath the flooring? Or will it compromise the joints if there is the additional play? The condo we see looking to install this in is very strict about IIC and STC ratings.

Asked by: Ace V
Hi Ace, Thanks for your question. We do not recommend adding any additional compressible underlayment when installing our WSPC flooring, as it may lead to deflection, which may damage the profiles over time. If you decide to use an additional underlayment for sound attenuation make sure it is non-compressible. PDNA Customer Service Team
