Installation is not as simple as score with a utility knife and a simply click in place, but rather needs proper cutting and a good deal of power with a rubber mallet to snap in place. That being said, the end result looks just as the photos depict it. Time will reveal if the product lives up to its claims in terms of moisture resistance, etc.

Very happy with the colour also, everyone who sees it loves it. It has many neutral grays, white, taupes and seems to go with everything. So far I am very happy! As long as it lasts for years to come.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved how my floor turned out I love the pattern options available for this floor. I thought the dark grey planks would look too dark, but they did not. The planks are multi colored. One May be half white and half brown. Another May be half grey and half brown. Therefore, the pattern flows well. I would definitely recommend it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too difficult I bought this a month ago. Replaced the living room floor only, as opposed to the whole main floor of 700 sqft like planned. My husband and I are self proclaimed DIY workers. His job was to measure and cut. My job was to "click" it all together. All the videos and personal friends we had received info from indicated it was easy as pie. My friends 13 year old daughter installed their vinyl plank flooring, physically clicked it together. I however, was not able to as the plastic edges were tight and had to bang the boards with my rubber hammer, rather than the simple "tap tap" I kept hearing about, to get the proper seal required. My husband has bad knees, thus why I was doing that work. He however had to take over as he is stronger and was able squeeze the boards together in a much less dramatic way. Still not easy like the videos indicated. I went to the store and looked at other types of vinyl plank flooring, and with the samples or open boxes I was able to click the boards together as easy as a hot knife through butter! I would not recommend this type of flooring unless you want a workout and a challenge! To end on a positive note, I looks fabulous and was easy to cut.

I do consider to install this in basement, do I need sublayer in the concrete floor? If I do, what would you recommend to use? Thank you

Good product. Easy to install. I do recommend a sub floor over a concrete slab. Dimple board will work. Sold at HD.

I use warm water, sunlight dish detergent, and a little pure vinegar. I find this cleans best, and doesn't leave streaks or smears.

I’m a little confused as to why this product ending in this SKU number is showing as multiple plank colors? I got a swatch from the Home Depot and it’s a light gray with slight beige lines through it.  Is multi tone plank what it’s going to look like?

The planks are multi width and multi colour. There are basically 3 main colour types. Grey, beige and almost white. And then each plank can be a slight variation of each colour and a variation of pattern. When laying the floor it's important to open each box (every box is different) and then sort each colour so that the finished flooring is varied. Ask in store if you can open a box, although the display in store will give you a better idea of the colours.

Hello Nooni, At the very minimum I would cut the edges of the laminate sticking up with a razor knife. This flooring is a great product but can be a little tricky at times to get it snapped together. The flatter and more even your starting surface is the easier it will be for you in the long run.

Thanks for your question. The planks are waterproof (meaning that water will not cause the planks to delaminate, swell, buckle, etc.) but the entire installation is water resistant because water will seep between the seams if it's left on the surface too long.The product is not leak or flood proof.

I am having trouble finding samples of the multiple Frosted Oak colors. Can anyone tell me if it's more tones of browns or greys?

It sounds like you’re prepared for a color range.  I was not. It ranges from white to dark and light gray. There may be a touch brown, but it’s dominated by gray.

Thanks for your question. This product should not be installed in an area that is not climate controlled between 50-100 Fahrenheit at all time. Excessively cold temps can cause the planks to contract and gap.
