Its durable AC4 wear layer protects against scratching, fading and staining. With a limited lifetime warranty for home applications or limited 7-year warranty for light commercial settings, your floor is protected. It features a user-friendly locking technology for a quick and easy installation on any gradeincluding basements. Underlayment and a 48-hour acclimation period is required for installation. We have 8mm in another room and you can feel the difference. Easy to install with basic knowledge, two people and a good saw. Can't speak to it's durability as we are only a few weeks in but so far I'm impressed.

This floor is extremely tough (We have 2 dogs and 2 teenagers) and easy to lay down. Goes together easily and looks great! The ONLY downfall is that we have been waiting for 5 weeks for matching t-moulds for our doorways and still do not have them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the flooring - delivery experience was bad! The flooring is really great. I installed it over DMX Plus on a concrete slab in my entire basement (about 1100 square feet) and it looks terrific. The deliver experience left a lot to be desired. The delivery truck arrived with two full pallets completely unannounced just as I was stepping into a limo to attend an event. As we had to leave then, the truck crew said we could send it back. I did that not realizing I would have a fight on my hands to get it re-scheduled. After a few wasted calls to the trucking company and about 4 or 5 calls to HD Customer Service the flooring was delivered over a week later. Turns out the trucking company had lost one box of flooring. After many more calls to HD who had the trucking company put a trace on the lost box, HD Customer Service informed me that instead of just sending me out another box they told me I could go to the nearest store (1/2 hour away) or we would have to go through the process of crediting my card for the one box and then re-ordering one new box. I eventually received the new box about another week later. I'm sure the process made sense to the someone.

What T-mold would match this flooring. I want to transition from the laminate to tile at the same height. thanks

As this flooring had been discontinued when I needed to do a transition to a tile floor in a bathroom I just took a scrap of the flooring and got a T-mold that was close in colour. It looks pretty good.

I am confused about the colour; some pics show it a lighter grey, others more brown - I am looking for a middle of the road mix. Does anyone have a clearer picture to share? Or what would you compare it to? I am mixing with light grey walls in bedroom

For this product to install on cement floor in a condo building, what kind of undelayer do I need? How thick should it be? Is it glued to the cement?

Hello Steve, for installation on a concrete floor, you would need at least a underlayment with a built in moisture barrier. The exact one would be up to you as some provide other options (sound, thermal insulation, etc.). The minimum thickness is 2mm for any underlayment. You should not glue the planks or underlayment to the floor, doing so could cause damage to the floor and void the warranty. I hope this is helpful. Thank you.

What type of underlayment would you recommend for installing this product in a basement over a cement slab?

Hello Mjb843, an underlayment with a built in vapor retarder would work great. Please make sure to install the underlayment up the wall by at least 1 inch. If you choose not to get a laminate underlayment with a built in vapor retarder, then a 6 mil Poly sheeting must be installed, up the wall, prior to the underlayment. I hope this helps. Thank you!
