Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest Floor Ever This floor is super easy to install. Few things I learned as i went along. Definetly pull it in tight with your hands then tap it in with a tapping block (or a piece of wood) Don't tap to hard or items will crack. When it comes to cutting you can try with the score and snap method it does work but you need to change knife blades more often. Spend the $100 and get a small dremmel circular saw for quick cuts it doesn't have to be perfect as trim hides it

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Really nice product I have installed 2 other vinyl flooring products and engineered flooring in 6 rooms. This flooring was by far the easiest for me to work with. Once the boards had clicked together, they remained clicked. I love the matte finish and the texture of the surface. It almost looks like real wood. Working with the long, wide boards also made for easier installation. The first 5 boxes, of the 16 boxes I purchased, did not have any really dark boards, but the next 4 boxes that I opened were half dark boards. This could be a problem if you have a small area and so many dark boards. I find that the dark boards are a bit too dark and stand out a bit too much but I'm sure I will get used to it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Was great - now far over priced I purchased 50 cases of this flooring last year from the store and did our whole main level of our home - when we did our upstairs we decided that we would use the Valdosta Vinyl Plank flooring again so I ordered anther 15 boxes / Online - last month - unsure just how much we needed for the different area's we were covering. Upon finishing the last case I realized I needed another 8 cases - when I went online to order I was shocked to find out the price doubled in less than a month! Ouch - so I tried emailing Home Depot got no response, so when I called Home Depot -and after being on hold for a long period and transferred a number of times there was no explanation or solution offered - when I asked to speak to a supervisor - Surprise - there was none available and when I asked for one to call me back - well let’s just say I am still waiting a week plus since my first call in and more than two weeks from my first emails - to say that Home Depot has dropped to the bottom of my home future renovation & Tool purchases is an understatement! ( *It needs to be noted that when I purchased the flooring it was "not" on sale - the first purchase was in the store, then my second purchase was only available online and the price went up by 10% , then when I needed the last 8 cases it went up by more than 200% from my original price) As for this flooring we loved it for our beach house as it is water and scratch resistant - Great for sandy wet feet to walk all over - So easy to install and Looks absolutely fabulous - and easy to care for! I would definitely recommend this product if you don't care about cost - if you are like me and love value and quality for your hard earned dollar, I would strongly recommend to shop around as there are much better alternatives out there! than this grossly overpriced flooring!

Will this flooring fade in a room with full sun light?

Two years in direct sunlight, we have not noticed any fading. We have newer windows that reduce UV light entering. Overall pleased with the flooring.

Can this be installed in my 3 season cabin? It’s not heated in the winter

You can surely install this in a seasonal cabin.  Just follow the instructions for tapping around the room to allow proper expansion and contraction.  Otherwise it is supper durable and as it is a vinyl product should hold up really well.

Can I use this over a low-pile carpet without a sublayer?

I wouldn’t.  You need the base to be solid enough so that the seam connections stay intact.  And I doubt they would honour the warranty
