Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outstanding, beautiful product!! I had the product installed about a month ago and I'm extremely pleased with it. It looks outstanding and it is waterproof. This product is so much better than 3/4" hardwood or engineered hardwood, both of which absorb water and then swell! That happened to us previously when my wife watered a plant sitting on 3/4' hardwood and the water leaked through the pot swelling the hardwood underneath. During installation, the contractor was fairly rough with the product but it didn't scratch or dent. It is scratch and dent resistant because it is so dense...no maintenance!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks good and easy to install These boxes are quite dense (heavy) and seem to have a good mixture of full length and partial length pieces. I like the look and character of the Meridian Maple. The click together fairly easily and it is possible to backfill with them. The construction appears to have 1.2 mm of wood attached to a stone poly composite, and a foam underlay for a total thickness of 7mm. The box arrived in rough looking shape, and a few of the boards had already been damaged. This leads me to question the long term durability of the product. The finish held up well to 220 grit sandpaper though

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not recommend Paid $6,000 for this flooring to do the main level and upstairs of our house and we are really disappointed. It does not hold up to anything and dents SUPER easily! We have big chunks missing from the floor already and we don’t have pets or children. We would have returned the flooring but it’s already installed. I gave it a 2 because I love the thick planks and colour. Home Depot is there anything you could do? We just spent $35,000 doing home renovations at your store because Home Depot is the best!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pretty nice flooring! My first impression? These suckers are heavy! Better eat your Wheaties before carrying the boxes in to your home! Each box weighs 53 pounds. Definitely the heaviest click-lock flooring I've used! Now that I've done my whining, onto the actual product. Each full length board (I say full length board because the package contains 3 lengths cut to random sizes each totaling 1 board) covers 48 inches by 6 1/2 inches, so just over 21 sq ft per box. I guess it's kind of convenient to have 3 boards already cut to create your stagger, but if you're familiar with click-lock flooring, you already know to stagger your joints by at least 8 inches. The boards are a nominal 7 mm thick, require minimal angle to engage the click-lock on the long edge which is nice for when going around doors and at the end of the room. I like the real wood finish over laminate for three reasons. First is that no two boards are the same lending to the effect of real hardwood flooring. Second, you have the ability to repair minor scratches etc., but bear in mind that the veneer is only about 1/32 nd of an inch thick. Thirdly, no special blade required to endure the abrasiveness of laminate. Just a standard fine-toothed carbide blade is required and should last a long time. The core is a standard paper-like high density core and is covered with a rubber-type textured underlayment so no further underlay is required or advised. As is, they rate the product as waterproof, and definitely the rubber-back adds to that water resistance. The finish on the wood is a nice hard satin with very little glare, and in my opinion, adds to the ability to hide the inevitable minor scratches of everyday life. The boards fit tightly together along the long edges with very little bevel, however, the end joints have a slightly more pronounced bevel, but not too much.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Installers read this As an installer this is the worst flooring I have ever seen It won’t click in and leave gaps, the large pieces are a little larger than smalls. If you are pricing a job this flooring will take you twice as much. Make sure you charge your customer accordingly. I would never install this product or give suggestions to customers to buy this crap

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This hybrid is a dud! I was quite excited about this new type of floor. With luxury vinyl in the past I always thought after an install that if I drop any of my tools on this its going to leave a dent and it won't be easily repairable. I received this floor and thought great finally someone thought of a solution to waterproofing (good for basement floors) and for durability and looks. Well I was wrong, this flooring will not stand the tests of time, the top layer of hardwood is just too thin, you have a brittle top layer and a soft vinyl layer below and hard force is going to crack through and it you start to see the black under layer then you can't leave the dent you would have to fill it or wax touchup pen over it. Also the vinyl interlock is too brittle, chunks of the lips and grooves were breaking off just as I was taking it out of the packaging, There goes the strength of that joint. I recommend vinyl plank all the time but will not be recommending this hybrid.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easy to use not much variation I used this flooring in my grandkids playhouse so it's going to have a hard life. It went together easily and its nice and thick. Has the backing built in so thats a nice bonus. For me personally it's a little boring not much change board to board but if you like continuity then you will like this. We will see how it stands up to tge rough housing grandkids in time but gor now it's attractive down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid vinyl Floor with sound cancellation We have a very good experience with lifeproof vinyl flooring. This is very good for high traffic area. And compared to hardwood liffeproof vinyl flooring care and maintenance requirements are very less. It's great for mudroom flooring and anywhere that might get wet or dirty. And lifeproof vinyl flooring doesn't need any underlayment. It's very easy to install. Highly Recommended

Is the colour more creams or yellow tones?

Asked by: Kim C
While color descriptions are subjective and we encourage you to validate the color by checking an in-store display, the color of the McCall Oak would be more cream than yellow in tone. PDNA Customer Service Team

Where can I find the technical specs sheet?  Our condo board requires an IIC rating of 70+. (installed on wood subfloor with 5/8" drywall on walls and ceilings) We have to submit this info in writing.

Asked by: Long Hair Dont Care
Not sure what IIC stands for…? There should be specs on the description page of the flooring. Sorry but I am not sure I can be of any assistance.

Can you install this flooring with DMX 1 Step 2.0?

Asked by: Floored
Dear Floored, We do not recommend using any additional underlay beneath our Waterproof Engineered floor, as it already has an attached underlayment. Adding a second underlayment may create problems with installation and performance, due to potential deflection issues. PDNA Customer Service Team
