This Life smart Life lux series infrared heater provides infrared warmth to an extra large room. Heating Just the room your in can help reduce overall energy consumption. This power packed heater uses our exclusive 8 element technology. There is a lifetime washable air filter and ionizer to help clean the air. There are 3 heat settings including an eco modern, programmable 12 hour count up and count down timer & digital display. The heater is encased in a furniture grade cabinet with e-z glide wheels. There is also a large full function remote control

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This past winter was horrible and cold. My furnace could not keep my house warm. I bought two new space heaters and they did the job. I put 1 in my livingroom and the other 1 near the bedrooms. My house was kept a nice 70 degrees. I had no worries about running them non-stop. (I did have someone check when I wasn't home.) My cats loved the warmth as well. My only complaint was that they were slightly damaged in the shipping. I could have returned them but I needed them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfied Have had the heater 2 weeks and so far are very satisfied with the product. We heat our modest ranch style home with electric heat. With rising energy costs we checked for supplement heating to cut back on our normal heat. This unit heats our area quite well. Have not had to put on our major heating as this heater works very efficiently. It actually warms our open living room/kitchen, main hallway better. We have individual heating thermostats for each room and have not had to put them on except early morning. You can control the heating temperature. It is simple to set up and use. Have not gotten our heating bill yet, but I would guess this will work more economical for our particular set up.

If I leave it on while I'm at work my house is warm enough when I get home (I keep the extra rooms shut off so it's just heating my living room, kitchen, and bedroom and bathroom). I was tired of spending alot of money on my gas heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the house comfy warm I purchased this heater to heat our 1100 square foot basement once we run out of wood for the wood-burning stove towards the end of March. The wood-burning stove serves to heat our 3,300 square foot house, but some times, such as during this very cold winter with single-digit temperatures for days and weeks, it needs a little help. I placed the Lifelux in the foyer of our house, and it serves to keep the entire house at 72F (along with the help of the wood stove). The square footage that it is heating is approximately 1,500; and the wood stove heats the basement (1,100 square feet). The rest of the rooms in the house are closed off. I especially like the feature that you can set the temperature at a desired temperature, and the heater will only kick in when it is needed. I just received my first monthly electric bill since starting to use the heater, and I was pleasantly surprised that it cost only approximately $30 to run the heater all month.
