Rated 5 out of 5 by from Shed & Service Delivery Excellent--Directions NOT! Purolator Delivery here in New Brunswick, Canada, brought us our shed. The driver, his name was Ali, was on time (even ahead of schedule!) and he was kind & extremely helpful. Once delivered though, then came the challenge of putting the shed together. Fortunately my husband had gone to the Lifetime website and gotten more information on building this shed, because the instructions that come with the shed (as others have said) are so poor. It is such a shame because the shed itself, when completed is absolutely beautiful. We have had so many positive comments and we are so pleased that we went ahead and ordered it. Thank you Home Depot!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Generally Good but... Pretty good but some small issues. Start by putting the instructions in a sensible place. I found mine in the bottom of box 2. I didn't want to have to empty the contents of the boxes before I reviewed the instructions. The door hinging required that I put spacers at the base to make them align properly. Instructions from HD website very different than ones included with shed. And lastly, some of the panels are supposed to have some particlar markings on the inside for positioning the shutters. Some did others didn't suggesting a quality control control issue. On the good side, Lifetime quickly sent a missing piece and overall it looks like it will last well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Quality The engineering in this mega puzzle is actually quite good. The pieces fit together remarkably well and with a little ingenuity one can manage to assemble it alone providing it's not too windy. As I read on previous reviews the instructions are some what difficult. One issue is getting the floor pieces correct in order to align the main doors. If you get it wrong you will need to tear down all the walls in order to switch one of the floor pieces 180 degrees. When I called Customer Support they were quite helpful and basically knew the problem right away. She admitted that this was a standard problem. All in all well worth the money and I would recommend it to anyone looking to save on storage space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well made shed. Well made shed bought for $2050 CDN, as opposed to the near $3000 for the same model with just two doors so a good deal and good VFM. Went together really well with no issues, a one man job over two full days, with an hours help with a couple of the roof panels that require some pressure on top to hold down when fitting. As per the instructions a totally level base is a must, any surface that is not totally flat will translate to a difficult build, panels that wont fit if they are just 1/4 inch out, or doors that don't close. Therefore if you do not have an existing totally level base already you need to cost in building one, both materials and labour, so add $750 - $2000+ to the project cost depending on i live due to the your base preference. I built a solid deck style platform 16' x 8' with 9 x deep in ground posts (needed where I live due to the cold winters and ground freezing) for $1750 due to the grading on my lawn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product Looks great once completed. Took about 5 hours just for the 2 x 6 floor topped with 3/4" plywood. The following day with help, took about 8 hours to erect. As long as you follow the directions, the assembly is very easy. Never needs painting, and easy entry with 2 wide doors on 2 sides. Will update once we go through the winter. I would recommend this product.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Mediocrity Score Based on Assembly Shed is great, fairly solid. Long shelf inside is flimsy. The assembly was a nightmare. The company should label each piece according to instructions, which are very vague anyway. The metal poles should be marked as well. All holes should be predrilled (shutters are a bugger to screw in). Company needs to make more effort to simplify the assembly process.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Belle qualité mais un assemblage long Beau cabanon, bien fait. Les instructions parfois manquent de détails, selon les instructions les ébarbures ont été enlevées sur les surfaces où il y en avait, ce qui nécessité plus de 5 heures pour une seule personne. 8 heures ont été requises à 3 personnes pour terminer l'installation.

Will the floor support the weight of a motorcycle (800 lbs..) with out buckling or caving in? Thanks

Asked by: Jeff
Yes but not without a wood off cut for the side stand to spread the weight, I just cut up an 8x4 1/2” ply sheet and pot that down to be safe. It took my Goldwing, a R1200GSA and my Bonneville one winter

Our riding lawn mower is 53" wide and this lists the door as 56" wide. Can anyone confirm the true width of the door is 56" and do you think you'd be able to navigate that large a mower through?

Asked by: Nick
The true width of the door is 56". Your mower will fit through that door. Shouldn't be a problem unless you drive it into the shed at full speed. Lol

OK. Just assembled this shed. Not hard but patience is a virtue. 95 pages of instructions.  Read the instructions completely through before start. Each parts page list numbered bags for screws and items to assemble sub items. ( like Trusses). Metals have shapes and lengths list. A good tape measure is advised. Did it myself but much easier with 2 people. Used 24"x24"x 2" concrete slabs for base. PLEASE go out of your way to get this base as level and true as much as possible. Uneven base will cause nothing but a huge headache. Door openings are hugely affected by uneven base. Wall corner pieces should be placed in warm room overnight to help with bending. I used Duct tape to retain corner shape to help with installation. I used 2 concrete blocks to support walls and doors during installation. DO NOT attempt to assemble in windy weather. Or have 5 people to assist. 2 FT sawhorse only needed beside noted small tools. Roof completely installed from inside while standing on sawhorse. Have a magnet handy, you will drop screws. Have a rubber mallet for adjusting panels. PS, I'm 71 years old. I did it. 3 part time days.   Clay Henry.

Snow/wind load Does it comply with Durham, ON. Requirements

Asked by: Jack
i've had mine up in Ottawa for 2 seasons. zero issues with snow. Roof seems solid and properly re-enforced. Biggest tips, spend a lot of time on site prep, it needs to be very level & flat, also be prepared for a solid weekend of assembly.

Can we installe side doors on booth side of the shed ?

Asked by: Nick
Yes the one set included can be installed on either side to suit your location, as with the end doors they can be installed on either end. The instructions show this and allow for either option, it just requires some pre planning and thinking as you build up each part.

Is shed weather proof to store, (wrapped furniture, card board boxes)...

Asked by: Fluffy
Our Shed products are weather resistant, but not water tight or water proof. Water can get between the seams of the roof panels which is then collected by the truss channel and drained outside the shed. You should not have much, if any, water inside your shed.
