Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good quality, but size is misleading This is a very nice drapery rod, but it's minimum length is not 72" as shown in the description. At it's minimum length, it measures 45 1/2" from outside of the mounting plate. My window is close to a corner and at 45 1/2" min length I can not mount this centered on the window without cutting down the larger diameter tube. Not a big deal really, but I would have selected a different rod had I known.

What is the height or distance between rod to wall? Can this be used as a ceiling style mounted rod? Or mount winging a window box frame? TY

Hi Kirstcoast, This curtain rod is best designed for horizontal mounting. The measurements of the rod from the wall follows. The outside rod measurement is 4.25” (inches) and the inside rod measurement is 3.25” from the wall. Note the rod is 1" diameter.
