I am used to HD products being excellent but this one horribly fails because the film is so incredibly flimsy that it rips just by pulling on it when you are installing. I've used window insulation kits of the last 20 some years but this is the first time I've ever had ones so poor. And I can't very well return them because I had to use them. I'll but the 3M version next year. I hope HD stops selling "md" "shrink and seal."

Obviously a product designed for windows will be exposed to sunlight. This results in the plastic sheets falling down over time. Mine did not last a full year. I know sunlight is the cause because one corner of the windowsill receives no sunlight, and the tape is still adhered there.
