Rated 1 out of 5 by DaveN from Tape is too flimsy to create a proper seal. I bought this product to help seal narrow gaps around some older casement windows in our home. I've used a similar V-seal type of weather-stripping in the past with great success. Unfortunately this brand is much thinner and the tape "hinge" is much weaker than the product I used previously. Consequently, the flap created when you fold over the non-adhesive half of the tape to form a V-shaped seal, is wavy instead of remaining straight. This allows cold air to easily leak past through the gaps. The weak hinge does not create enough pressure to form a tight seal between surfaces. The adhesive seems to work OK but the tape is too thin and flimsy to provide a proper seal. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.
