The Hana is a rectangular 42 inch x 34 inch corner shower kit designed with clean, modern lines and chic hardware. Its reversible configuration allows for a left or right corner shower installation. As well, the flush mount hinges on the inside glass allow for easy squeegee cleaning.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great shower package Install went great. I replaced a 36x36 shower. I redid the walls with new tiles. I took my time fitting the glass shower and base into the space I had. The instructions were good. The only that wasn’t clear was how far out the return glass panel had to be in the bottom track to align up with the door seal. Once I had all the glass in place I had to try and slide the return panel forwards to make the seal with the door. Tricky as there is some silicone in the track. Other than that the unit looks great and modernizes the whole bathroom. I am a DIY guy and would recommend this package. The price was right with quality materials.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent product I am a contractor that does a fair amount of bathroom renovations and this design is very nice for a basement or smaller bathroom. The glass is solid and a clean looking design, walls are basic flimsy and require a frame for mounting. Access from the backside and gluing/ screwing blocking etc is very helpful but also time consuming for what should be a simple install. (Not hard but time consuming) My issue with this product is the poor design of the seal on the bottom of the door and threshold/ water stop. With a 42” space water from a shower head is going to bounce off the base and spray right through the shower door. The seal is precut to size and the fins could be long on the seal itself. As longer seal strip should come with the kit for one that can be cut to size and longer fins that can be cut to suite. Definitely a few altercations can be made to make this product better. If this can be resolved then I would recommend it to someone otherwise there is other options for your money. Have many clients that want this but I can’t have recalls due to excess water hitting the floor and damaging other products around it. Home Depot does not sell seal strips, they direct you to contact Maax for a “great warranty” Calling maax will run a call for 5 minutes then cut you off. Emailed Maax so will see how that’s goes- this always creates a prolonged period of time for a contractor and his client... not a route I like to take but seems to be the only option!

I had everything roughed in according to the manufacturer’s diagram and measurements. When it came time to actually install the glass shower itself is actually 3” shorter than what the item is advertised as. I would not waste money on this product again. The client will be calling the manufacturer.

The short glass next to the wall is expected to support the weigh of the shower door simply by a friction fit into the wall retaining channels. It cannot do this and the addition of silicone sealant at the time on installation acts like grease as the wall glass tips forward from the weight. The instructions for installation are very short on detail and explanation. This is not an average DIY project as it requires experience to install properly, meaning you are going to have to install at least twice before getting even close to getting it right. I had to install a thin cable and turnbuckle on the wall glass to support the door. The overhead bar between the two fixed glass panels cannot compensate enough for the weigh of the door. The acrylic panels that can be obtained at same time as part of a kit are very poorly fitting and not even cut correctly. Will take a lot of caulking to make these panels watertight. Don't buy.

How does the glass panels attached to the wall?
