Rated 3 out of 5 by from Needs improvements *WRONG TEMPLATE for drilling holes into tile for cross bar! Please take this into consideration. The holes need to be drilled about 3/8 of an inch higher then template ones. I literally had to shim underneath support bracket and was unable to use provided slide in cap. Redrilling holes isn't really an option either because you'd just be compromising strength. *Supplied drill bit is a joke.... don't waste your time even attempting to use it. Just go buy a diamond tipped one *Anchor screws for rail bar are way to short and seem very light for its intended purpose *Instructions are poor Other then that final product does look good

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Great....BUT!!! FIrst off let me start with Home Depots delivery option, Day & Ross, terrible communication on when they will be dropping off! no approx date or time, they just show up, luckily I was home Now Maax ,, door looks great slides nice,,, however after installing a OVE shower door a year ago, everything went smoothly with it, was expecting the same from MAAX,, it wasnt First the template is off by about 3/8 of an inch, doesnt sound like much i bet is what you are thinking, well when you try to put the spacer and washers between glass and travel bar, its a huge amount secondly, Maax needs to redo their instructions, by far the worst I have seen, and product like this should have clear and concise instructions!! advise read and reread the instructions about 3 times, also Maax online video doesnt event follow the instructions thirdly, have a missing part, luckily it was just a trim piece for the threshold on the operating side, which I can put on after I receive it, missing parts on a project like this could be an extreme headache, especially for those who would be hiring someone to install would I recommend, thats a tough one!! based on looks and operation YES based on instructions and incorrect template NO

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Beautiful glass but some issues This is a beautiful door. It slides nicely. There are two issues with this door though. The space in between the 2 glass doors is quite large (about an inch) and water can easily come out in between that space. This second issue is that the door I received is meant for a 3 glass panel shower. So there was a piece that didn't fit in our shower because it was meant to clip the third glass panel! This was not in the description of the door and it's too heavy to return.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Happy Customer Expensive alternative to shower curtains...Poor instructions considering the cost of the doors....I've had to backtrack a few times to correct errors but no harm done. Whether the confusion was due to the instructions or my misunderstanding of them is a moot argument. If I had to do it again I would. The results are very satisfying. If you have room near your worksite ..layout each and EVERY part you will use.(Extra parts for alternate installations can be confusing). Good Luck

I have a 59.5 inch shower opening. Can this door be installed given my opening size?

Asked by: FrankCammalleri
Yes, this shower door can be installed with the shower opening of 59.5 ". A suggestion for you. Check the hight of the bathroom - my mail bathroom is only 7' and the shower doors go right to the top - I think normal bathroom height is 8' and this should allow for a good clearance at top. I my case the shower doors go right to the ceiling - had I known this I would most likely have checked out a different shower door. If your ceiling height is 8' you should be fine with this shower door. Hope this helps.

Is there any screwing required to secure the bottom side of this sliding door?  I just want to make sure it's appropriate to use the Kerdi shower curb as it is not made of wood construction and it's not appropriate to screw into this structure.  Thanks

Asked by: Steve2174
only minimal screws required into the base. they are not "structural". so, screwing into anchors in the kerdi curb would be fine. I did it. works great.
