Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shower Door Fail The contractors (hired through Home Depot) who installed doors did not meaure prior to installing doors. As a result, they installed it on an uneven base. Doors do not close all the way leaving a significant gap. They also installed the doors on incorrect sides. Have had to hire other contractors to plan to remove the Home Depot doors and reinstall new doors. Has definitley been stressful!!

How do you clean the glass? What kind of glass/bathroom cleaners can you use?

We recommend that after each shower you use a squeegee and/or soft cloth to remove any small amounts of residual water and/or soap residue off the glass. If you have hard water, you can spray the glass with a solution of 1/3 white vinegar and 2/3 water prior to wiping the glass. Does the top rail cover the interior roller mechanism or do you see it from inside the shower?

What is the thickness of the glass? How are the panels 6 mm and 8 mm thick? I want the 8 mm glass with the Lotus coating, not the 6 mm glass without the Lotus coating.

The opening on my shower stall is 56" x 76". Will this door fit this opening?

This model will fit a finished opening that is between 56-59" and will require your finished walls to be a minimum of 76" in height. This unit also requires double stud reinforcement behind the finished wall. Hello, I have two questions: 1. does the glass have Lotus Protection? 2. is there a track that is installed on the front ledge of the base?

The Incognito shower door does not have the Lotus protective coating on the glass. There is a bottom threshold piece and a door guide that will install on the curb of your shower base. how wide is the opening when the door is slid open?

Depending on how wide your finished opening is and on how much you will need to trim the rail to fit the finished opening, your walk-in entry will be anywhere between 18-1/4" - 22-1/4". This shower door has a minimum width tolerance of 56" and it cannot be installed in an opening that is more than 10" below the model's minimum tolerance.
