Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great looking with a fairly easy install The Inverto sliding tub door is a great way to finish your bathtub installation. The design and build are focused on the metal components which makes for a very stylish look along with a sturdy build. Installation was fairly simple, though I would suggest clearing out an afternoon since it did take a good 3 hours to complete. As mentioned elsewhere the instructions are decent but Maax has a great install video on youtube that helps clear up any issues. The best part is my tub walls are slightly out of level (~1/2" from top to bottom) and these doors still installed perfectly with no gaps, the doors still slide perfectly smooth and everything looks level and sharp.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very nice doors, relatively easy to install Just finished installing these today and they look great. Installation was relatively easy, however a couple of tips can help that install be easier. First, if you have wood behind the holes you need to drill then go deep. these doors are heavy and are ultimately held up with 4 screws. I used 3 1/2 wood screws. Second, if there is no wood, go deep, you may find some deeper in the walls. If you absolutely have to use the anchors, undersize the hole (5/32 or 3/16) and ensure the anchors are secure in the wall. I tried to use an anchor for the bumper and it fell through into the wall with the 1/4 hole as directed. Third, the handles come pre-assembled. on the fastener side, the caps can be removed to reveal a phillips head fastener. This was a tad frustrating until I figured it out. The manual does not really give clear directions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from MAAX INVERTO FRAMELESS SHOWER DOOR. DON’T BUY! We had a very experienced contractor renovate our bathroom and all work was done to high level until installing this door. Getting the door to fit into the side frames was impossible. Several calls to Maxx, who instructed to use “brute force” to get things to line up. NotHing would work so they ended up sending replacement parts which did fit more easily into the side frame. But now when the doors are closed completely you are locked inside the shower. We’ve ended up keeping one side of the door open an inch so that terrifying situation doesn’t happen again. Very disappointed that it looks like we are going to have to live with this pretty looking, but non properly functioning shower door.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good door, screw anchors are bad Shower door is good, seems pretty high quality for the price and looks very nice. Difficult to install, instructions aren’t always clear. YouTube video helps. If you aren’t installing into studs, the supplied anchors are awful. I recommend buying some better #6 plastic anchors. I installed this into the MAAX Utile shower wall enclosure, and the supplied screws aren’t long enough to hit the studs, so you’ll need to use the anchors

Directions are ok but there is a video on tube with clear instructions. Be patient it will take couple of hours to install. Worth the time very elegant doors and great price

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent doors They look nice. The handles appear to be a heavy, good quality. However, I would give 5 stars if there was handles on both sides on the door. You have to grasp the tiny knobs to close the door behind you. We reversed them so it is easy to close the door behind you once in the shower. 2 sides to a door means you need 2 handles .

How does the door adhere at the bottom where it connects to the tub? The current doors run on a track and gets filthy. Want something that is trackless or VERY easy to clean. But it has to be watertight because the floor leaks into the ceiling when wet

Daer DesignAndTrinket, this two panel sliding door has no main bottom track, it does have a frame you install near the outer edge of the base and then there is a center guide with two slots where the two door panels slide and each panel at the bottom has a sealing gasket so water will not leak, it is quite easy to clean,Thank You!

Will the MAAX Inverto 56 - 59W fit the DreamLine SlimLine 36 in x 60 in Shower Base DLT-1136601, SKU 1001029055? My concern is if the track for the MAXX Iverto door is too wide for installation on the front of the base which is 2 5/8 in I think.

Looking at the technical drawing for the Inverto, it requires 3&quot; of threshold for installation. DreamLine bases are only 2-3/4&quot; wide. We would not recommend this combination, as the threshold on the base is too small for the Inverto.
