Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Nice Shower !!! I was a little worried about this shower after reading some of the reviews but it worked out great. I had a very qualified installer. He had to cement the drain pipe in the floor after installation. He used a mixture with a little more sand in it in case you ever have to remove the cement to get at the pipes. After letting that dry. He mixed up some thin set mortar and put it under the base. He was then able to support the base properly and get the correct angle for it to drain properly. He followed instructions and built a wood frame structure to support the walls. He attached the wood frame to the wall studs. After installation the base does not squeak or flex. The walls are sturdy. The shower looks nice and works great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Some tips When building the wooden frame, the diagram shows a space between the floor and the upright 1x3s, but doesn't indicate a measurement. This needs to be higher than the height of the base. It can be hard to turn the screws into the aluminum frame in some places without stripping the screws. I had to screw, then unscrew, then rescrew a few times to get some of them in. Standing on the base can feel bouncy and squeaky once installed. To fix this, before setting the base down, spray some low expanding spray foam where the base is going to go, then level the base with shims and wait for it to dry. I didn't think of this until after installing everything, so I had to drill some holes from underneath and spray the foam in, which made everything feel much more solid. The plastic walls are thin and flimsy feeling until they're mounted in place in the wood frame. I put some construction glue on the wood frame and pressed the plastic walls up against it when installing and it feels solid now. The shower was very inexpensive, but looks nice.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage. Avoid at all cost. Flimsy base made of styrofoam, very squeaky. The base flexes so much that I’ve had to re-caulk the round wall seems multiple times. Unreal. Get what you pay for I suppose....

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Semble bien pour le prix Pas posée encore mais semble bien pour le prix...malgré les nombreuses étapes....j'espère que les instructions seront précises

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good Probably more of a 3.5 due to the instructions not matching up to the actual design. But one should be able to figure it out with 2x3s and extra mounting to make the shower sit flush. Just think your way through the mounting and this shower will definitely do its job. This shower mounts directly onto a wall, but i recommend using plywood if possible to screw the 2x3s, etc into.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Very poor installation guide I bought this for a budget. Would have been worth to spend more and have less problems. I followed the instructions including drain assembly as written. Such a big mistake! Almost everyone in the industry says the rubber gasket has to go under the shower pan except this one. Now the drain assembly is higher than the pan and water stalls. Other instructions also very poor!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Be Informed Installation requires additional labour costs that eat into savings of buying an inferior product. What you are left with is something functional but for a few dollars more a higher quality unit can have better customer satisfaction.

Can the water controller and shower head be installed on the left wall or just the right wall?

Asked by: Neuro
My installation was on the right side, installed as per directions worked. Seems to me that the water controller and shower head can be installed either right or left side -- directions were provided for both, as I recall. Changing sides would also dictate changing the sides of the doors, not particularly difficult, just follow the instructions included.

Do you need to use the walls that come with it or could you tile the walls?

Asked by: KristaMoncton
The shower stall is a complete set. You would have to take it apart but that would defeat the purpose of getting a stall.

The description says its single piece yet the installation instructions indicate multiple pieces. Which is it? Is it single piece?

Asked by: Ann R
Multi piece. Note:I opened the box, read the instruction manual and immediately hired a profession to install it.

Corner

It says the width is 34" but the item width is 41.25? what does that mean. Also, is there a measurement from the back corner to the highest point of the curve? We're remodeling and want to make sure it fits properly. Out last stall was 32 x 32 and was ok.
