Rated 1 out of 5 by from Are there worse designs + poorer customer service Bought the shower door for my double shower, had it professionally installed. Lake Tahoe forms on the bathroom floor every shower. The design of the door is shockingly bad as was the customer service from Maax, the manufacturer. Have gone through 4 different tech reps, each time starting from scratch (sending pics, describing issue, etc.) They have given me a direct email address, though apparently some of my emails make, while others don't...One tech tried to tell me the shower head was on the wrong end and therefore water escapes. I said it's a double shower. Both ends have shower heads. He asks if I can turn one off. Seriously, that's your solution. Have a double shower put in, but don't, whatever you do, actually use it. Surprised he didn't suggest trying not to use water at all. The claim to be a leading North American manufacturer. Well, they are leading in some categories, none of which is good. I'm guessing, like with other poor reviews from other poor suckers who purchased Maax products, I'll get a "We are very sorry to hear of your situation. Please contact us...blah, blah, blah." I have paid for the door, paid for installation and will need to pay for it to be removed (after having my new shower for less than 3 months - used twice). Maax, if you are, in fact, a leading North American manufacturer, PLEASE PAY FOR THE DOOR, PAY FOR THE COST OF HAVING IT REMOVED AND PAY FOR THE COST OF INSTALLATION OF A NEW NON-MAAX SHOWER DOOR THAT I AM NOW STUCK LOOKING FOR. That is what I have paid and I don't think I should be the one paying the same costs again. Don't send some shmoozy, attempt to sound nice. Fix the entire problem or don't bother.

How does the door adhere at the bottom where it connects to the tub? The current doors run on a track and gets filthy. Want something that is trackless or VERY easy to clean. But it has to be watertight because the floor leaks into the ceiling when wet

Dear DesignAndTrinkt, this door has no main bottom track but a center glide where the door panel slides, it's sort of semi trackless, there is a small metal piece that runs from the center guide to the wall where the sliding door portion is and keeps water in and there is seal at the bottom of the door..if you require more information Please contact the Maax technical Dept. for shower doors 1-877-438-6229 and a technical advisor will be able to assist you, Thank You!

I have a smaller bathroom. The bathtub is positioned at the end of the room against the outside wall and under a window (34 x 37) The tub I chose for renovating it, is the MAAX COCOON. My concern is this; WILL THIS DOOR WORK ON THE COCOON? Thank you.
