MAAX Mediterranean III 32 in. x 32 in. x 74 in. Center Drain Shower Kit in White, Mistelite Glass, Chrome - How do I successfully caulk this unit because I have water damage both outside edges about 5 inches from base? I have tried caulking but failed.

Hello, I just purchased this Shower kit and I have 2 questions. 1. Can I use shims to level it or do I need levelling compound? 2. Can I screw the side panels to the frame rather than use Adhesive over drywall?

What is the composition of the floor/base? Is it made of polystyrene or fibreglass/acrylic? Is it installed directly to stud?

I suggest you refer the customer to the Maxx Mediterranean III website. It has the specs for the unit as well as installation instructions. I suggest the customer read those instructions carefully as they are a bit confusing.
