Rated 5 out of 5 by from Look great! Pretty easy product to install, just be sure to read the instructions more than once. I used a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade to cut the header, rather than using a hacksaw with the jig included in the kit. The inside cover of the rollers rub up against the inside of the opposing glass. A slightly thicker washer will probably fix this. The doors look great and I kinda wish I had another shower to do now that I know how it all goes together.

The track guide does not stay in place, which means we have to glue it down which defeats the purpose of why we chose this model for easy maintenance in the first place. Couple other little caps won’t stay on either. Definitely would make a different choice if doing it again. Customer service has been helpful so far and replacement part came super fast which we appreciated!

Large amount of drops splashes outside as far as 2 ft jumping over the shower door threshold. No issues found in installation by maax technician twice! Unable to fix so far. After 3 months of follow ups, Maax now denies the support saying it is non-warranty related issue. Would not buy maax products again nor would recommend it to anyone.

They slide easily, but not so freely to collide into the sides of the shower. I do like how they sit a little higher than the shower door to be able to clean well, but be aware that water does splash up while a shower is taking place. We keep a small towel handy to quickly wipe up the floor. We also purchased a squeegee to clear the glass of water after each use. Depending on the type of water you have, that can help keep them clean.

It looks good and is fine for a guest bathroom Although it was 8mm thick, the mechanism of the door doesn’t feel super sturdy. suggest to spend a few extra hundred dollars and get a more sturdy shower if it’s for daily or multiple household use.

Can it be trimmed to fit a 52” alcove?

No, this is not recommended because you will have a very large and awkward-looking amount of overlap between the 2 pieces of glass and your walk-in entry width will be very narrow. Have tub/shower vinyl enclosure...Am I able to install a door on it? it is 53 inches wide
