Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice shower door A nice looking shower door for a decent price. Made in Canada, unlike other MAAX models made in China. The six screws provided that hold the doors in place are too short for a tile-over-concrete-board installation. The screws were 1.5 inch and I replaced them with 2.5 inch so as to have 1.5 inch into the backing studs. The machine screw provided to hold the bottom tracker was too short. The doors slide nicely. However if you enter on one side only then the towel tail can be used as a door handle on one side of the glass only; I would have preferred one fixed glass panel and one sliding one with handles on both sides.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great but be careful on installation So far so good, easy to install, but instruction on how to apply silicone is insufficient, you need to apply silicone on the bottom edge inside the bottom track and the wall jambs, otherwise you will get water inside the bottom track, this eventually could leak into walls, for some reason they mention only put silicone around the outside edge of the wall jambs no where else, odd

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Spare Bath I installed the doors with the help of my wife. Took about 3 hours. Once you accurately measure the top and bottom and hacksaw them off it goes very fast. Be careful lifting the glass never put side pressure on the doors and when unpacking it is very easy to miss a little white piece of plastic to find out the height of the center door guide at the bottom. There is also a tiny screw to secure it. All in all, was easy to install and looks great. They do have a toll free number if any problems and were very helpful on how to find the tiny piece of plastic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pleased with the unit I have put in and taken out a few bypass doors on a shower and also a tub. Most others were cheep but did the job. Now for some this is a cheeper unit but the glass is thick and heavy and the wheels on the track have bearings so they move silent. The silver on the frame is all the way through unlike the gold on aluminum. If you get a scratch you can buff it out. I put it on a walk in shower (MAAX) and after measuring and cutting the top and bottom I realized too late all the pieces were almost to wide for the , shall we call it the lip the sides are fastened to. The top has one side curved for the outside and one flat for the inside. This was by far wider than the original I took off. So as there is no end piece to capI installed it then gooed in sealant let it cure for a day then went back to sort of mold a seal in the halfmoon. This halfmoon outside of the top is further out than the side of the shower. If you are going to purchase this unit then take into consideration the width of your mounting face. I had to excatily measure the mounting holes in the fiberglass and carefully tighten up the walls so as not to have the sides expand out larger than the surface which is also curved on the corners. I used actuall Silicone not caulk to seal this and also glew it before the last tighten of the mounting screws. Had to wait for this to cure. I considered taking it back as it sure made it a challenge to seat on the lip. When cutting the chrome bottom and top be careful not to just lay it on the bench and cut as any slight movement will scratch the surface. Make a wooden block for the inside of the top and wrap it in a towl up close to your cut. plus put masking tape over your cut as a wandering hack blade will scratch it. I think I would ad a stanless screw to afix the top so the inside endg is flat and square with the sides so the doors will close in the side track better , just a little off at the top and the door will not go in the side frame.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I like the doors but Easy to install and doors work real nice. But the towel bars are sloppy. 1/2 inch hole in doors and a 5/16 inch OD shoulder bushing. Bolt spacing of towel bar is 24 3/16 O/C inches and holes in doors are 24 inches O/C. I forced bar in but edge of hole in door is visible. Very sloppy. I will have to make 7/16 inch shoulder bushings and try to bend towel bar to fit. Not happy at all

My shower alcove width is 59.5 will a 59w fit?

This is the standard size of the majority of bathrooms and bathtubs. If you’re replacing a bathtub with this shower enclosure then it will fit. You’ll probably have to remove the drywall though.

It would look rather odd because the frame design doesn’t include any means of attaching a return. I suspect that you could jury rig something that would work but it wouldn’t look finished

How does the door adhere at the bottom where it connects to the tub? The current doors run on a track and gets filthy. Want something that is trackless or VERY easy to clean. But it has to be watertight because the floor leaks into the ceiling when wet

Dear DesignAndTrinklet, there is a main bottom track that sits on the tub ledge and in the center there is a center guide where the two doors slide, it is a door with a bottom track but it is pretty easy to clean and it is watertight and will not leak, Thank You!

What do u mean the walls have to be plum? Do u mean level on all the installation sides. Bottom and right to left?

Hi there, exactly,both walls have to be plumb to be sure when you install your wall jamb evrything fit well,if your wall are not plumb the glass panel will touch the bottom corner or top corner first and the door won't be seal for water,if you want more detail please call our tecnical support at 877-438-6229 opt2 opt 1 Best regards
