Create a sophisticated bathroom space with unparalleled ease and speed. Utile by MAAX is an innovative shower walls solution, available in a range of rich colors, deep textures and stylish patterns that look and feel like tile. Why is Utile superior to tile? Starting with purchase and installation: with tile, several other materials are required and a professional must complete the 3 days installation. Alternatively, Utile walls do not require the purchase of other materials except silicone, and a few tools if not already in hand. They are fixed directly on the studs, in 1 day and do not require hiring an expert! As for the long run: tile is a sturdy material, however grout requires regular care and maintenance to keep its look and integrity long term. Utile walls, on the other hand, have realistic and carefree faux grout lines that will not crack!

  1. Includes one 60-inch back wall, one 32-inch side wall in Origin Greige, one 10 mm glass shelf, a 2-panel 60-inch sliding door in chrome, one glass side panel, and a white base with left end drain

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Garbage instructions Absolutely garbage. Plastic parts terrible instructions and pictures, especially when it’s a reversible door at least give a left and right side instructions When you pay the price it should be a lot better with less plastic parts and clearer instructions. I do this for a living and would not recommend it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good value and style Just wanted to clarify the warranty on this door for my customer. Product was install quite easily with minor instruction confusion. I had to install the solid glass rubber seal on the inside solid glass metal wall bracket and glass because the instructions said to install on the outer side but you cannot get the flat support bar spacer in because the glass wall is to close to the bar.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quicker supply and lower price Looks great. We've installed it on a Maax shower base and that works well so far. Price at Home Depot was much less than plumbing supply store and with much faster delivery. Thank you Home Depot.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from DON'T USE THE TEMPLATE Let me preface this by saying we installed a similar unit a few years ago, so we started pretty confident. Everything was going along perfect until we went to install the support bar. That's when we discovered the bracket, that we'd accurately installed based on the template was too close to the fixed panel jamb and there was no way to get the glass connector between the bar and the glass. At this point the silicone was setup, so removing the glass wasn't an option. We we able to remove the bracket and using ol' fashioned math, get the proper location marked for the holes, but trying to get the drill in beside the glass was almost impossible. We finally managed but cracked two tiles. The rest of the installation went fine, but how frustrating to get halfway through a discover that the second step in the instructions were wrong. Other than the cracked tiles, it looks fantastic. DON'T USE THE TEMPLATE!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks great! Great shower door. Since it is glass and the is a tall shower it is REALLY heavy. My father and I installed it. Make sure you have good drill bits of you drilling into tile (you will be making roughly 10 holes for screws if you are putting it against tile). The door slides nicely and looks great.

Hi; I bought the 32-inch Panel based on the technical drawing and HD specifications that shows the max width of 29 7/8". Upon opening, I find the glass pane actually measures 27 1/2". Can you explain how I get to 29 7/8"?

Asked by: Don R
Had the same issue and the contractor spent an entire day trying to sort out at his hourly wahe I might add. Ended up adding a solid four inch wall where we then connected panel. I had extra space and wanted to use it and thought this was flimsy at best. system does not get high marks. I thought it was discontinued. Good luck

Can both these panels slide? Or do you need to choose which is fixed and which slides? I'd like to be able to reach in on the faucet side to turn on, then enter thru other end, so i need both panels to slide if possible.

Asked by: dx32020
Dear dx32020, the Halo door one glass panel is a fixed panel and the other one slides, Maax preferes that the sliding door is installed on the same side as the shower head if possible and you can't have two slidind panels on the Halo door..Thank You!

Maxx replied earlier (about an OVe base) "if the threshold of the base is flat and at least 2 3/4'' wide ... there should be no problem". My Ove base is flat but has only 2 and 3/8' width - so, about 3/8 inches short ... think I could still make it work?

Asked by: jimtoronto
Good Day, yes it should work.

Will this work with an Ove shower base (32"X60"_

Asked by: jimtoronto
Dear jimtoronto, Maax is not familiar with Ove bases, if the threshold of the base is flat and not angled inward and it it's at least 2 3/4'' wide and your wall to wall finished opening is no greater than 59'' then there should be no problem,Thank You!

Can you cut this material and if so, how difficult it is?

Asked by: mdrock
Dear mdrock, really sorry but the Utile walls are not recommended to be cut so Maax does not recommend cutting it, unfortunatly the answer is no..Thank You!
