I made few cuts with different thicknesses of branches and small trees and I had lots of juice still left! I eventually used the fast charger and it was approx. 45 minutes to fully charge! For me, it was a great buy and like other reviewers, try to get them on when they go on sale!

Thank you for your question. Yes, the 18V LXT (3.0Ah) battery can be charged on Makita battery charger DC18SD. All 18V LXT batteries can be charged on Makita battery charger DC18SD including the 18V 1.5Ah, 18V 2.0Ah, 18V 3.0Ah, 18V 4.0Ah, 18V 5.0Ah and 18V 6.0Ah.
