The DUH751RTE has a 30" blade for increased cutting capacity and a 5-position rotating handle for increased comfort when trimming vertically or at an angle. A Makita-built 3-speed (0 - 2,000 / 0 - 3,600 / 0-4,400 SPM) brushless motor delivers up to 4,400 SPM with zero emissions and reduced maintenance. No need for engine oil changes, spark plug replacements, air filters or a muffler to clean. DUH751 is always ready to use with the included 5.0 Ah 18V LXT Li-Ion Battery. Its part of Makitas expanding 18V LXT System, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V Lithium-Ion Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger.
