DBO480 offers fine finish sanding for a variety of applications with 4-1/2" X 4" abrasive paper. Its two-speed settings at 11,000, & 14,000 OPM that can be easily selected using the one-touch speed control. Battery and motor locations are engineered to reduce flutter for a more evenly finished surface. Features an efficient through-the-pad dust collection system with a built-in dust port to connect with Makita dust collection systems and a large clamping lever for quick and easy paper changes. Its part of Makitas expanding 18V LXT System, the worlds largest cordless tool system powered by 18V lithium-ion slide-style batteries. Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries have the fastest charge times in their categories, so they spend more time working and less time sitting on the charger

Accepts 6-hole 4-1/2" x 4" hook & loop OR 5-1/2" x 4-1/2" clamp style 1/4 sheet abrasive sandpaper for through-the-pad dust extraction
