18V LXT and X2 (36V) Portable Backpack Power Supply is an increased run-time and extended power solution that accelerates the transition to battery for all day work and performance without the hassles of cords and gas. The backpack utilizes either two or four lithium-ion batteries to provide 2x/4x the run time when used with Makita 18V LXT Cordless Products. The battery box can be detached from the harness for use as a stationary power supply. For improved tool performance and extended battery life, Makita created Star Protection Computer Controls. Star Protection is communication technology that allows the Star Protection-equipped tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitor conditions during use to protect against overloading, over-discharging and overheating

Backpack utilizes four 18V LXT batteries providing longer run time on 18Vx2 / 18V LXT power tools

Provides up to 2X the run time when used with 18Vx2 LXT products (with included adapter)

Provides up to 4X the run time when used with 18V LXT products (with optional 18V Battery Adapter, 191J50-7)

Padded harness with quick release shoulder and waist straps for operator comfort

Battery box can be detached from the harness for use as a stationary power supply

LED display indicators allows monitoring of power level on all four batteries individually
