The 40V max XGT Brushless Compact Router provides a cordless solution for many woodworking needs. The electronically controlled Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 1.5 HP and efficiently uses energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application. It has a variable speed control dial (10,000 31,000 RPM) to match the speed of the application, and electronic speed control engineered to maintain constant speed under load. Convenience features include the soft start feature for smoother start-ups and better accuracy, dual LED lights to illuminate the workspace, and an on/off button with a separate lock button. The slim and ergonomically designed body with a rubberized grip is engineered for increased comfort. The Router has a quick-release cam lock system for convenient depth adjustments and easy base removal/installation when installing other bases.
