The Makita 40V max XGT Batteries & Chargers 2.5Ah Starter kit is perfect for smaller projects and compact tools, providing dependable power wherever and whenever required. It features a large charging status indicator light to give a clear indication by LED in colours, blue, green and red, with a raised lens, selectable melody sound for fully charged notification, optimum charging control using feedback of real time battery data and a cooling fan for the battery. It is able to perform consecutive fast charges of batteries and features electronic current limiter for overload protection and is dust and drip proof designed. The charger communicates with the battery's built-in chip throughout the charging process to optimize battery life by actively controlling current, voltage and temperature. The result is category-leading battery charge times, which means the battery spends more time working and less time sitting on the charger
