Delivering the same power as 1000W corded grinders and with a variable no load speed of 3,000-8,500 RPM, the XGT 40V MAX Li-Ion Cordless Variable Speed AWS 5" Angle Grinder with Brushless Motor & Paddle Switch is one of the best portable and powerful grinding solution for your heavy-duty applications. It comes equipped with Makita's Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) to wirelessly communicate with dust management solutions and eXtreme Protection Technology (XPT) which protects the tool from debris and harsh conditions. The Active Feedback sensing Technology (AFT) shuts down the tool to protect the user from sudden speed drops and jams while its electric break stops the wheel 3-5 seconds after switch is released for increased user safety.
