TheMakita 5-inch Strip Disc with Black Coarse Grit (Soft) is ideal for quick removal of materials on steel and stainless steel. The soft grit provides excellent user control and better fit against irregular surfaces to prevent material damage and loss. As an alternative to wire brushes or abraisive flap discs, this disc is ideal for removing rust, scale, paint, epoxy or heat discolouration while also being suitable for sanding or polishing wood and stone, weld blending and cleaning, and surface prepatation.
