It was used to cut through a 60 year old hollow cinder block wall. It produced more dust than a continuous blade likely would have. But, it could not have done a better job. This blade saved both time and money, not having to rent a larger demo saw or pay someone to do it.

Does the blade fit a 1/2 inch arbor?
Asked by: Rick
This blade has a brass insert which has a 5/8" hole, if the brass insert is removed, the blade fits a 7/8" arbor. There are most likely inserts that could be placed into the 5/8" hole to reduce it to 1/2". This item does come with it.

Does this fit for the concrete saw model number that has the arbor 7/8 inches?
Asked by: BalbirP
This blade will fit a 7/8" arbor if the brass insert is removed. For the record, many hand grinders also have a 7/8" arbor. The blade does fit but its dangerous, just too much power to control when cutting free hand. I almost found out the hard way, wanted to pass this safety tip along.

Will this blade cut the embedded reinforcement steel wire in the concrete.

Asked by: Joeo
Yes, a diamond blade generally cuts concrete, stone, tile, brick and rebar or wire. Of course as the blade wears out the performance will decrease. I have not specifically used this blade on steel but the foregoing should apply to any good quality diamond cut off blade.
