Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent Door but Stickers are a Nightmare Nicely primed, so easy to paint on the front and back but I agree with another review about the stickers on the edges which are almost impossible to remove. I bought 6 of these doors and all had the same flaw. The stickers are quite bright and because I mostly couldn't remove them after a lot of scraping I painted over them but they show through the paint! I also wish they would stock the 78 inch height as that is the size I actually require and these doors are not great for cutting down.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Good door with a terrible flaw The door is fine, but some genius decided it would be a good idea to stick permanent, un-peelable labels along both sides of the door. After 20 minutes of gouging away at the door with a blade, I resorted to sanding the labels off. In addition to being incredibly frustrating, this somewhat defeats the purpose of buying a pre-primed door.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy the "machined" version of this door I purchased 3 of the "machined" version of this door some months ago, but when I went to install I discovered that these doors do not have the expected 2-3 degree bevel on the vertical edges (they are square), and therefore will not fit nicely into existing doorframes. I previously purchased the non-machined versions of this door, which do have the 2-3 degree bevel. When I submitted a question online, Masonite directed me to contact Home Depot. When I contacted Home Depot, they told me to contact Masonite. But when I contacted Masonite, they wouldn't acknowledge the issue, and told me to contact Home Depot. Home Depot won't give me an exchange or refund because the purchase was more than 3 months ago. Very disappointed by the runaround - and why do they make and sell a door that won't fit properly into an existing doorframe - unless you have machinery that will easily allow you to cut a 2-3 degree bevel?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sticker removal is frustrating The door is fine but be sure to plan lots of time to remove the paper sticker from the side. A more expensive door without a sticker may be cheaper in the end time wise! Manufacturer: spend an extra few cents on an easy to remove poly label. Come on!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Interior door The door has the handle area cut out, but not the hinge area. But the door itself is well made and fits perfectly.

Apart from the knob hole, what is the difference between this door and 1000112193? And .... is this door REALLY white? I looked at 10001121937 earlier today and they were not white .... more of a "beigey-cream" .....

Asked by: MurrayBrown
That "beigey-cream" is only primer. You still have to paint it on all 6 sides or Masonite's warranty is void. The "off" color of the primer will have no influence over the final color if you are painting white. As for the price difference, I am honestly not sure. If I had to guess it would be the thickness of the blocking in the top and bottom, or the use mdf v.s. FJP. Would be easy to tell if you could look at the two doors side by side.
