Rated 3 out of 5 by from These doors aren't made to be trimmed to fit. I recently bought five of the Lincoln Park doors for a condo unit I own. Two of the doors had to be trimmed at the bottom in order to fit above existing flooring. I removed 3/4 of and inch from the bottom and to my surprise, there was no more material on the inside supporting the lower panels! Seriously! Is this the first time someone has had to shorten a door to make it fit?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst labels ever... Masonite, do better!! Do not buy these doors unless you enjoy spending more time dealing with the sticker labels than it takes to hang them. Was going to use these panels for 4 bypass closets and spent an hour peeling labels off the first couple. Would have just returned them had we not already used the prehung for all the other rooms (those were perfect) imagine trying to peel 12 layers of tissue paper stuck down with gorrila glue, coming off one little flake at a time. Still ended up needing to use an orbital sander to get the residue

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wider filler bar would help Nice door for renovations. Not totally solid door. Would be better if the filler bar at the bottom was wider than it is (about 3/4 inch). Most doors I replaced I had to cut about 3/4 “ off and then had to reinsert the filler bar to cover the hollow in the door. Added a few steps to the project.

Is this door actually solid core? The title line says 'hollow core' and the specs say 'solid core.'

The door doesn't have a solid core, however it is a lot heavier than "regular" hollow doors. I purchased 4 of them and don't regret it one bit.

Is it possible to cut this door down by 10", the specs don't detail the measurements from top and bottom of door to the start of the panel?

Hello Julie, you can trim up to 1/8" off each edge or side of this door slab. Anymore will immediately void the warranty and may disrupt the integrity of the door.
