Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good door for the $$ We bought this slab in a 28" application but had to cut it from 80" to 64" ... IT IS POSSIBLE!! But use patience, plenty of masking tape & a short, fine jigsaw blade. (You DON'T want to cut both sides at once) Measure the correct length, lay a bead of tape across. Use straight edge to draw line across on both sides. (PATIENCE) Apply more masking tape on either side of strip to prevent marring. SLOWLY cut approx. 1/8" too long, flip the slab, repeat on opposite side. The bottom filler piece can be re-used as it comes out of old piece easily. Slide inside of new cut even with measured mark. (PATIENCE) Use brad nailer to secure. Sand off excess 1/8" from bottom... Paint... Beatiful new door. We used a Eurothane finish in European white... Excellent!!
