Can you put rocks in the bottom to make it more sturdy? Or is it a one piece item

Hello, Our Acadia line does not have a removable tray it is all one piece. The water reservoir located at the base of the planter will add sufficient weight.

How do you drain water if you are using it as self-watering before winter? (Drilled in the middle of the pot) Do i need to drain water before winter?

Mayne Patio Planters can be stored outdoors or in your garage or shed without worry. Even with some water left in the reservoir, there is no risk of cracking as our double-walled design will allow room for the water to expand when freezing. Remove as much water from the planter as possible by tilting towards the over flow drain holes.
