We dug our holes about 2 feet and added some quick setting mix. I purchased some vinyl lettering for the family name and address which I found very easy to apply. The measurements weren't very clear, the measurements were for the inset part of it and it is much larger than that.

    How do you attach a custom wood sign?

    You can install a custom wood sign a number of ways. You can either nail it into the sign or glue it using no-more nails(see picture). Hope this helps.
