The Mayne Yorkshire 12-inch x 72-inch Vinyl Window Box features a sub-irrigation system that encourages healthy root growth. It helps you complement the appearance of your home while offering a low-maintenance solution. This white window box requires minor assembly and can be cut for a custom fit.

  1. Ready-to-assemble kit requires minor assembly, parts glue together easily to create a beautiful finished product (about 15 min to assemble).
  1. Kit includes front panel, back panel, bottom panel, left end cap, right end cap, vinyl glue, 2 wall mount brackets with black powder coated finish and screws.
  1. Panels can be cut to the exact length needed to create a custom fit for your windows.
  1. This window box features a double wall design creating a water reservoir.
  1. Outside Dimensions: 72"L x 12"W x 10"H. Inside Dimensions: 66"L x 8"W x 8.25"D, holds approx. 18 gallons of soil, water capacity is approximately 1.5 gallons (5.7 litres).
  1. Optional decorative brackets add a beautiful finishing touch, sold separately (model # 4821-W)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super High Quality This is a very rugged box, I am totally impressed. I expected a flimsy piece of plastic junk but this is a very robust box. I just ordered two more for the front of the house. Supper robust mounting system and easy to install. Couldn't be happier and I usually hate everything that is plastic!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Putting box together A bit tricky to put together. Best to have two people to help assemble. But once done, they look great. Would highly recommend also purchasing decorative brackets to complete the look.

1.  Is this planter appropriate on a porch ledge where it can be viewed from all 4 sides?   2.  What is the width across the bottom?  My ledge is only 11" wide.  Is the planter is 12" wide across the top but less on the bottom (as the photo suggests).

It might be appropriate, however the front and 2 sides/ends have a top wider trim that is not going all the way around to the back. In my opinion they are best suited to be placed on your window, underneath. That way, the wide trim is showing on the front and the 2 end sides. The back of the planter then fits snug against your house. The planter is about 9 and a half inches fr front to back AT THE BOTTOM. This is not including the wider trim at the top that is going around the planter except the back edge. Hope this helps!! Note - these planters are really sturdy and of excellent quality! I love them!!
